1. Entry fees: $4.00 for Open, $3.75 for Youth. Entry fees are per rabbit per show. Meat Pen $4.00 Open and $3.75 Youth. Fur class $2.00 Open and Youth. 2. No Charge for ear number changes. That s right, no charge! However, ear number changes must be done PRIOR to the start of the show. Ear number changes made after the start of the show or at the show table will not be accepted without the permission of the show secretary. 3. Changes to existing entries will be accepted if received by Tuesday April 188, 2017 before 10pm. This would include any "Out of Class" changes, such as Buck to Doe, Senior to Junior, Open to Youth etc. No Out of Class changes will be accepted after the changes deadline of Tuesday April 18, 2017. 4. Aisles will be designated on the floor, please be aware of the keep clear areas and have your set-up as small as possible. Excessive exhibitor camps, grooming tables or chairs will be moved by the show staff if space becomes an issue. Please be thoughtful of others; consolidate your bunnies and your stuff. Our Host Hotel is the Hampton Inn - Hood River 101 Nichols Parkway, Hood River, OR 97031. We have a small block of rooms available at $99 a night plus tax, call the hotel at 541-436-1600 to make a reservation, ask for the American Rabbit Breeders Association block. There are a limited number of rooms at this price, call today! Reservations must be made before March 20, 2017. Free hot breakfast, free parking and pet friendly, new hotel.

SHOW RULES Please Read! 1. This is an ARBA Sanctioned Show. By the filing of your entry you indicate your acceptance of all our show rules and the rules of the ARBA, which govern this show (sec. 45-46 exhibitors rules of ARBA). 2. Judging will start promptly at 8:30 AM. Exhibitors are expected to be in the showroom and have entries paid before the show starts. 3. All animals showing signs of disease shall be removed from the showroom (sec. 31 show sponsor rules of ARBA). For the wellbeing of all animals, any occurrence of a communicable disease, virus or parasite will be reported to the Show Superintendent. Entries in subsequent shows for that animal that day will be scratched without refund. 4. All rights are reserved by MHRBA to substitute judges in any event. The Show Superintendent reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary. The judging assignment and judging order will be posted the day of the show. 5. Absolutely NO interference with judges or judging will be tolerated. ARBA provides specific guidelines for protests. Any emergencies or concerns/complaints should be directed to Show Officials. Show Committee decisions will be final. Please remember that the judge s results are their subjective opinions, so please be courteous to them, as well as other exhibitors. 6. MHRBA reserves the right at any time to remove any person or persons disrupting the show or causing problems, all their entries will be scratched without refund. 7. ENTRIES: See individual rabbit entry forms for proper fees. All fees are per show per class, per animal. This is a Double Open and Youth Show. All Entries MUST be completely filled out (Name, Mailing address, and Phone). Please remember to indicate entry in both shows if you wish to exhibit in both. a. PRE-ENTRIES ONLY: Entries by mail or email must be received by Monday April 17, 2017 before 10pm. b. Mail entries to the show secretary listed on the entry form. Entry fees must accompany your mailed entry. Mail-in entries without payment will not be processed. c. E-mail entries are due no later than Monday April 17, 2017 by 10pm. Email to mthoodrba@gmail.com. Payment for emailed entries is due by 8:00am the morning of the show. MHRBA reserves the right to request payment for emailed entries from exhibitors that do not show up or scratch their animals from the show. You may also pay via PayPal! 8. Changes to previously submitted entries will be accepted by e-mail before noon on Tuesday April 18, 2017 before 10pm. This would include any "Out of Class" changes, such as Buck to Doe, Senior to Junior, etc. No out of class changes will be accepted after the entry deadline, please don t ask! 9. There will be a $30.00 service charge for all returned checks. Entrants having a returned check may be asked to have cash, money order, or certified funds for future MHRBA shows. Reports will not be sent to the exhibitor until full payment and service charges are received. It is expected that bad checks will be made good within 30 days. Bad checks will be reported to the Oregon and Washington State clubs. 10. All rabbits must have a PERMANENT, LEGIBLE EAR MARK in the left ear, or they will be eliminated from the competition. 11. Youth Exhibitors may enter Youth Shows through the age of 18 years. Adults cannot show in Youth Shows. Youth may show in Open Shows, but may not enter the same rabbit in both Open and Youth Classes in the same show. Youth may enter both Open and Youth classes with different animals. Please specify Open or Youth on your entries, under the columns for Show A or Show B. 12. Youth exhibits must be put on the table by a Youth. Adults may assist a youth with transport to the show table only! 13. Exhibitors will be responsible for getting their rabbits to the judging tables as soon as the class is called. Rabbits will be called two (2) times; if not on the table after the final call the class will be closed. There will be no rejudging of a class due to missing rabbits. 14. Please keep your area clean during the show and clean up before you leave. Those leaving excessive trash and mess behind will not be welcome at future MHRB A Shows (see rule #6) Please do not leave your mess for the club to clean, that s not how you want to be remembered. 15. No awards will be mailed. Please pick these up before the end of the show. 16. Absolutely NO SMOKING and NO DOGS other than certified Service dogs with ID will be allowed in the showroom. 17. Please keep control of minors that you are responsible for. Any damages will be at your expense. Misconduct may result in removal from the showroom by the show committee and all entries will be forfeited. 18. One free raffle ticket will be given to each of the first 20 people who tell the raffle table attendant that they actually read the show rules. Tell the raffle table attendant I read the show rules including Rule 18 to receive your free ticket. One ticket per person please. 19. Mt Hood Rabbit Breeders Association, or the owner, agent, organization or the show facility, or any other related organization will NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for any type of loss or injury due to fire, theft, accident, or providential destruction under any circumstances; to any person, animal, or personal property, (whether owned, borrowed, or rented).

If you have a rabbit entered in Show A or B Open or Youth that got disqualified for any reason except for an illness, (snotty nose, abscess, parasites, etc),you can enter it in our D/Q Show to be held in the afternoon before Open Show B Best in Show. Entry fee is just $2, the winner gets half show entry fee money; First and Second Reserve split the other half! Sign up with the show secretary at the show, no pre-entry needed, this is just for rabbits D/Q d in the regular shows that day. Mt Hood RBA reserves the right to refuse any entry if illness is suspected. Rabbits MUST have been entered in the regular shows. Judging will be done by one of our regular ARBA judges.
