NOTICE TO THE EXHIBITORS The Gympie District Show Society Inc. accepts there are many more varieties of poultry and colours within varieties than are listed in this schedule. The varieties and colours listed are the most popular ones shown with this society in past shows. This society will create a new class where six (6) or more birds of a variety or colour not listed are nominated. REGULATIONS: 1. Birds will be judged in accordance with the Australian Poultry Standards. Poultry varieties not listed in the Australian Poultry Standards are not eligible to compete for awards other than awards nominated for their section 2. All exhibits will be watered and fed by the Society, for the duration of the Show and although all reasonable care will be taken, the Society will not in any way be responsible for loss or death or otherwise 3. Any bird dyed or in any way interfered with, will be disqualified and the exhibitor dealt with as the Society s appointed Committee may see fit 4. Should any dispute arise for which no specific rule is laid down, the matter in dispute shall be referred to the Society s appointed Committee whose decision shall be final 5. In accordance with the Rules of the Society, any prize money not collected by the 30 th June 2016 shall be deemed a donation to the Society 6. Any person seen or found removing eggs from the show pens will be prosecuted as the eggs are the property of the Society 7. Any sick or diseased birds will be removed from the Show Pavilion on order of the Chief Steward 8. No bird will be removed without permission of the Chief Steward 9. Classes are provided for Cock, Hen, Cockerel and Pullet in all varieties and colours 10. Birds up to 12 months of age as at 1 st May of the current year will be eligible to compete in cockerel and pullet classes 11.
