Travel north on GA-20/GA-138 approx. 4 mi. Turn right onto Centennial Olympic Parkway. The entrance to the field is 2 mi ahead on the right. Follow signs. From the east: Take I-20 west. Exit I-20 at Exit 84 (GA-162/Salem Rd). Exit right onto GA-162/Salem Road (which becomes Sigman Road) for approx.. 1.1 mi. Turn right onto Gees Mill Road for approx.. 2.5 mi. Pass Gate A. Turn right onto Centennial Olympic Parkway. Pass Gate B and the traffic light. Turn right into the main entrance to the park on the right. Follow signs to the field Care of the Grounds Important Information Kindly enter the field at the designated area only. Parking areas will be clearly marked. Please clean up after your hounds. This is a NON SMOKING FACILITY!. There will be a $15 fine levied on all smokers leaving cigarette butts on the grounds or people caught not cleaning up after their dogs!! PLEASE NOTE: Horses and Riders have the Right of Way!! Drive SLOWLY. Follow signs. Please bring your own shade and water. There will be portable toilets available DO NOT put poop bags in the toilet!!! RV and Tent Camping allowed. The hound must complete the entire course with enthusiasm and without interruption. Qualifying Courser (QC): Open to all eligible sighthounds. The qualifying hound will run with another hound, completing a (minimum) 0-yard course with a minimum of 5 turns. The qualifying hound must complete the entire course with enthusiasm, without interruption, and without coursing, interfering with, or aggressing on the other hound. Owner of qualifying dog must provide or arrange for a hound of like running style for their hound to run with in this test. Stakes Offered Open: Open only to hounds of eligible breed, with no breed disqualifications, that hold an AKC QC certificate OR have run in the Open Stake prior to Jan. 1, 2010, OR have a Senior Courser title OR have an ASFA or CKC field champion title. (a copy of this title must be attached to the entry form if the QC requirement is to be waived). Championship points are awarded from this stake. Open Veteran: Open only to hounds that are eligible to enter either Open or Special Stake, and are of Veteran age as determined by their Parent Breed Club. Course Plans GANG reserves the right to alter the course due to field and/or weather conditions on the day of the trial. Course will be reversed for finals, runoff and BOB. Terrain is gently rolling, The field is not fenced, but is well away from the main road. Each hound is entered and competes at the sole risk of its owner. It is recommended that hounds are in good physical condition. Sunday 890 yds HOTEL INFORMATION: Call hotels when making reservations to check on their pet policies.
