Non-Member Participation Fee The Non-Member Participation Fee applies to dogs wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is not a member of the CKC; it is not applicable to CKC members or dogs co-owned with a CKC member. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the Non-Member Participation Fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The Non-Member Participation Fee is paid in the calendar year (January December) in which the dog achieved its title and/or titles. Exhibitors must vacate the building 1 hour after Best in Show on Sunday. 3. Intransit area available. 4. ALL EXERCISE PENS MUST HAVE PLASTIC SHEETING UNDERNEATH AND UP THE SIDES. IF SPACE IS LIMITED, EXERCISE PENS WILL HAVE TO BE TAKEN DOWN DURING SHOW HOURS as requested by the Show Superintendent. 5. To comply with instructions issued by the Canadian Kennel Club, we will be unable to accept entries reaching the Show Secretary after the official closing date as published in this premium list. 6. No entry will be accepted unless all particulars called for on the entry form are shown thereon. INCOMPLETE ENTRIES WILL BE RETURNED. NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY ENTRY FEES. 7. Identification cards and judging schedule will be mailed as soon as possible after entries close. 10. The person accompanying the dog must show the Identification Card before the dog is allowed in the show, and unless a dog is entered officially, it will not be allowed in the show precincts. 11. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have the dog at ringside when the dog s class is scheduled for judging. 12. Diana Edwards Show Services and the Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident, or misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 13. Conflicts between Dog Show Rules and the New Breed Standards. The Board of Directors of the CKC, has ruled that where a conflict arises between the Breed Standards and the Dog Show Rules that the Dog Show Rules will take precedence. 14. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. Changes or cancellation of any entry after closing date is prohibited. 15. All dogs MUST be exercised in the exercise pens provided for that purpose. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs in any location within the building or on the grounds. 16. If because of riots, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management; it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. 17. To avoid noise and confusion, there will be no individual dogs called to the ring by loudspeaker. Delays waiting for dogs will not be possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their breeds conflict. 18. Showers available from 7:00-9:00 am. 19. Ch 8, Section 2, of CSR states An error in the age specified class, the date of birth, or sex, may be amended on the entry form up to one hour before the start of the show. Any person incurring damage to the outside/exit doors by jamming them in a open position will be held financially responsible for any repairs. ALL FIRE LANES MUST BE KEPT OPEN AT ALL TIMES. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT 10

CHAMPIONS & CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 1: A dog awarded WINNERS at a championship show held under these Dog Show Rules shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the determination of the number of championship points to be credited to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as provided hereunder. SECTION 2: The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: Dogs Competing: 1 2 3-5 6-9 10-12 13 or more POINTS ALLOCATED* 0 1 2 3 4 5 *Includes the dog awarded WINNERS To determine the numbers of championship points earned by a dog awarded WINNERS total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above. In no case, may a dog earn more than five points at any single show. ATTENTION ALL FOREIGN EXHIBITORS To obtain an ERN simply do the following: Send a photocopy of the dog's registration certificate reflecting current ownership - with a written request for an ERN. Include full payment in the amount of $62.40 plus applicable tax. Accounts may be paid with personal or business cheque, money order, Visa or mastercard. For Non-Members please note that if paying by cheque, the cheque must be certified. Non-residents of Canada please note that discounted cheques or money orders will not be accepted due to fluctuating currency rates. Provide us with your full return address. Faxed requests will be accepted. Please include your VISA/MasterCard number, expiry date, cardholder's name and signature. An ERN must be obtained within 30 day of obtaining points, awards or scores to avoid cancellation. SHOW SITE ACCOMODATIONS The Arnprior Canine Association requires all exhibitors pay for camping on the show site. The fee of $25.00 per day, or $75.00 for the entire weekend, is for power and water, whether you use it or not. The form below must be filled out with your entry. A separate cheque is required, payable to The Arnprior Canine Association.
