Arena will be on south (right) side of the road ¼ mile east of Webb Rd. Please do not use GPS directions. There will be signs at the entrance to the arena. SHOW REGULATIONS Declination of Entries: The Wichita Dog Training Club, Inc. and the Hutchinson Kennel Club may decline entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of aggression, disease, deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. No one shall have any claim or recourse against the Wichita Dog Training Club, Inc., the Hutchinson Kennel Club, or any official thereof. Bitches in Season are not permitted in the Trial. The club will refund all but $10.00 / day of the entry fees for bitches unable to compete for that reason. Dogs injured and not able to compete will be refunded all but $10.00/day with a note from your veterinarian that they should not compete. The Trial Secretary must be notified of such claim for refund by letter or email. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Judge or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of god, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee or other acts beyond the control of the Trial Committee it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. Exhibitors must be governed by any rules or regulations or civil authorities, building and parking restrictions. Vehicles parked contrary to regulations will be subject to towing at owner s expense. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors are acknowledging that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform the obstacles safely. This trial is open to all dogs 15 months of age or older and OPEN TO ALL BREEDS that are registered with the American Kennel Club or are registerable breeds that have obtained AKC ILP /PAL or Canine Partners numbers, except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made.. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a $30.00 service charge for any returned checks. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if an entry has been processed, no refund will be made. PHOTOGRAPHY No flash photography will be allowed while a dog is running on the course. MOVE-UPS Dogs may be moved to a higher class at the request of the owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title, provided that the request is made to the Trial Secretary not later than 6:00 PM, Monday, April 2 nd 2018. Move-ups after Friday of the trial must be made within 15 min. of the end of the last class. Dogs so moved up will be entered at the end of the running order. AWARDS A qualifying score is required for all awards. Placement ribbons will be awarded for 1 st through 4 th place in each height division of each class at each trial. Qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all dogs receiving a qualifying score. New title ribbons will be awarded where appropriate. Clean run ribbons for novice only. A commemorative MACH/PACH ribbon and MACH/PACH bar will be awarded to each dog earning a MACH/PACH title at these trials.

Standard Classes Exhibitors may choose To enter their dog in a higher height division than required by AKC, but not in a height division lower than the AKC mandated height. STANDARD/PREFERRED CLASSES Preferred Classes All dogs entering the Preferred Classes for the first time MUST enter at the Novice level in both Pref Std & Pref JWW. The following jump heights shall be used in all Preferred Classes. Owners are responsible for entering their dog in the proper height division. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN ITS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION. HOWEVER, PRIOR TO ARBITRATION ALL APPLICABLE AKC BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES MUST FIRST BE FOLLOWED AS SET FORTH IN THE AKC CHARTER AND BYLAWS, RULES, REGULATIONS, PUBLISHED POLICIES AND GUIDELINES. INSTRUCTIONS Handlers may opt to enter in a higher height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs enrolled in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option effective April 1, 2010. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 816-3776. If the Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship of the Junior Handler to the Owner?
