Ring 1 All Exhibits Janis Christison ~ QFA I have always been fascinated with cats and can clearly remember my first cat Josie, a grey tabby, my constant companion when I was a small child. I entered the cat fancy in Canberra in 1976 showing a Persian neuter. My prefix Santique (in partnership with my husband) was granted the same year in Canberra and I bred blue, cream and blue cream Persians for many years until moving home to Queensland in 1989. In 1991 I began an Exotic programme from first generation breeding in most colours and patterns but always on a small scale. Many major awards were achieved over the years including Group 1 Cat of Year awards in 1987, 1990 and 1998, each time with a blue Persian! We no longer have entire cats having dedicated the many years since the last litter in 2000 to caring for our retired show and breeding cats which have now all sadly passed on. We now give all our love and care to our young neuters, an Exotic and a Russian, which have brought me back to the fun of showing both have won Desexed Cat of Year. I am an ACF Inc All Breeds International Judge and have been judging since 1991. I regularly judge all over Australia and New Zealand and I have also judged in Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Sweden and South Africa. It is always a pleasure and a privilege to handle so many beautiful felines and meet their proud owners. I served as President of Queensland Feline Association Inc (QFA) (2015 2017) having previously served as a Vice President of QFA since 2005 and I have been a Tutor Judge since 1999. I have always been very involved at Club level especially in the position of show manager.. Ring 2 All Exhibits Deborah Hartwig ~ Cats NSW INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS 1998 NZ, 2000 NZ 2004 NZ, 2011 Germany, Netherlands; 2012 Malaysia I have always owned a cat, I can t remember a time when I haven t. My first pedigree cat was a Blue Longhair in 1975, I went on to breed White Longhairs, then onto the Patched Persians. I have won many awards with my breeding over the years in Central/North Queensland. I entered the cat fancy in 1976, where I served all capacities of show management, and I have held several positions in our cat club in Central Queensland over my many years of involvement with the club. I enjoy judging, it is a delight to handle so many lovely exhibits, and to constantly see the different breeds of cats exhibited. Deborah gained her Group 1 Open judge s licence with QFA in 1985, Group 2 Open licence in 2000 and her Group 3 Open licence in 2005 making her a QFA Inc All Breeds judge. Deborah has judged in most States and Territories of Australia and in NZ and is interested in learning more about all felines. INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS 1995 New Zealand 1998 New Zealand 2000 New Zealand 2008 New Zealand

Ring 3 Group 1 & Group 4 Jenny Weekes ~ Cats NSW I have owned cats my entire life, starting with farm cats as a child. I purchased my first pet Birman in 1990 and my first breeding Birman in 1994. With my husband Greg we have bred Birmans in Canberra, Townsville, Wellington (NZ) on the Gold Coast and now at Murrumbateman. My first prefix Kachin was granted in Canberra in 1994 and my current prefix Sunsoar was granted in 1997. We have achieved many major awards at specialist and All Breed shows including Birman Cat Fanciers Qld Best Female Kitten 2008 and 2010 and Supreme Exhibit 2010 and 2012. On the Gold Coast in 2006 I was able to commence training to become a judge and gained my Companion Cat licence in 2007 with QFA, followed by a Group 1 (Longhair) licence in 2009. I became an All Breeds Judge in 2014. While living in New Zealand I developed the quarterly magazine, Flash Cats which I continued to edit for several years after returning to Australia. Prior to moving to Murrumbateman, I held various positions including the Secretary of QFA Inc., Secretary of the Birman Cat Fanciers of Qld Club and President of the Gold Coast Cat Club. Greg and I are enjoying our life in Murrumbateman and share our home with our Birmans and our new pets, three Alpacas Cherokee, Magic and Warlock. Aside from my cat related activities I enjoy patchwork quilting, web site development, travelling and spending time with the grandchildren. Ring 3 Group 2 & Group 3 Peta Sperduty ~ Cats NSW INTERNATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS 2012 New Zealand 2012 I have always loved cats and for as long as I can remember we have had a cat or two including a beautiful Burmese cross domestic, as pets. My introduction to the pedigree cat world was through a good friend who had a Siamese cat she used to show, so for fun, I tagged along. From there my love affair with Siamese and Orientals began. Soon after I got my first show spay, a darling Seal Tabby Point. I decided that I wanted to do more in Cat Fancy so in 2008 registered and successfully completed the Stewards Training Course. I also registered my prefix Mingyang and in October 2008 I had my first litter of Siamese / Orientals. Whilst stewarding I handled various breeds but fell in love with the Clowns of the Cat World the Devon Rex and in conjunction with a good friend and workmate, bred a few litters of these darling, funny cats. I am currently only breeding Siamese and Orientals but hope one day to come back to breeding Devons. Outside of the Cat Fancy I am a qualified Vet Nurse working on the beautiful mid North Coast of New South Wales. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, photography and collecting anything to do with frogs and cats.
