Mission To collect and synthesize the best practices for clinical swine medicine Translate and disseminate those practices to stakeholders who can apply them to improve swine health, ensure pork safety, maintain sustainability, and conserve resources

Future Plans SMEC plans to build a new state of the art production facility Facilitate basic and advanced technical training to swine health professionals Allow demonstration and comparison of cutting edge production and health technologies Showcase swine production, health, and welfare to the media and public
