These are special non-regular obedience classes for any dog that is capable of performing the Obedience exercise in the specified obedience class, and that is eligible under the Obedience Regulations to compete in AKC events. The exercises in each class will be performed in the same order as the A class, and will be judged according to the AKC regulations as in the regular class, except that verbal praise and encouragement during the exercises will not be discouraged or penalized. Any additional commands to the dog, however, will be penalized. The score for each exercise in the class (Novice/Open) is the same as the respective regular class. Upon check-in at ringside, tell the table steward which exercise you want to skip. You will receive a perfect score for the exercise skipped. You may, if you wish, do all the exercise, without skipping any, and you will be scored on all the exercises performed. The exercise, maximum score, order of judging in the Wild Card Classes are as described in the Obedience Regulations for the Regular Classes. Additional Trial Rules 1.
