Every year the Lot 1 position is one we take great pride in offering an individual we feel not only has extreme quality, but more importantly, unique breeding value. It s not a decision that is taken lightly and usually one that has been in the works for several generations. Simply put, for those of you searching to find an elite cornerstone female to build a program around, there won t be many that sell this year that will offer what this female can. Obviously the influence of Irish Whiskey females within this business has been remarkable. The dam of these flush mates is a Riemann s Firewater x Dr Who that came direct from the Reimann Ranch and has been a no miss donor in the battery at Wheeler Cattle. Last year we offered an exceptional Mercedes Benz Daughter that was selected by Jim Hyer and several daughters have been retained by Toby. 5/270 MAINTAINER 3/2/15 THF/PHAC Sire: Irish Whiskey Dam: WCC 24 (Reimanns Firewater x Dr Who) 1 Lot 1 is as good as they get. The size of her foot and bone and her angles and flexibility to her joints alone sets her in a different league, and to combine that with her balance, power and hair quality is a feat not often duplicated. As you can tell, we are very high on this female, and feel that she is truly one of the elite that will sell this year. 5/315 MAINTAINER 3/10/15 2 Sire: Irish Whiskey Dam: WCC 24 (Reimanns Firewater x Dr Who) The double clean version of Lot 1! Just like her sister, this female offers immense quality, and her clean status should present unlimited options from a breeding perspective! RODGERS LIVESTOCK WILL RETAIN THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES ON EACH FEMALE IN THE SALE AT THE BUYER S CONVENIENCE AND SELLER S COST. 4

In a limited first calf crop the quality of females that Liquid Courage has generated led to several requests for sexed semen, so we have decided to offer some on a limited basis. We could not be more pleased with his progeny as a sire and the ability of his dam to consistently produce quality, like Italian Stallion and Lucky, as well as several competitive heifers and steers, has only added to our confidence. Last year, Liquid Courage heifer prospects that we sold averaged $8,900 and the group of females that we bred this summer were hands down our best replacements. Reports out of the Reimann Ranch and others who have used him have been consistent with our opinion, and we feel that he will continue to be the go-to maternal sire that we had hoped for when we made the purchase. $16,000 1/2 INTEREST LIQUID COURAGE HEIFER OWNED WITH HEIMER LIQUID COURAGE HEIFER RAISED BY BARTELS SELLING IN PURE PERFECTION SALE 5

4/0449 LOW CHI 12/5/14 THF/PHAC Sire: Liquid Courage Dam: Raven x Greens Princess 4 This female offers the extreme quality that we have come to expect out of Liquid Courage. She is backed by an impressive Angus cow that goes back to the famous Denver Champion and lead donor for Express, Greens Princess. We could not have been more excited when the Perry family told us they had this great female and wanted to offer her for sale. These are the kind of females that have made this sale successful with their dual purpose ability to make great show heifers and phenomenal cow prospects! 4/851 LOW CHI 12/20/14 THF/PHAC 5 Sire: Liquid Courage Dam: Freestyle x 504 (Meyer 734) Here is another heifer that has worlds of potential as a cow prospect. We feel her picture does not represent her quality and urge you to look her up sale day. Her mother is a direct daughter of our old 504 Meyer donor that is also the Grandmother of our Lot 31 bred heifer and Lot 19 heifer, both females that we feel are featured lots within this sale. We are big believers in cow families that generate, and this is surely one we have strived to build around. While we understand she may not be a sharp prospect show heifer, her practicality, foot size, heaviness of bone and skeletal quality combined with her maternal pedigree are features that we strive to select for when compiling our replacements. She is surely one out of the keeper pen! RODGERS LIVESTOCK WILL RETAIN THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES ON EACH FEMALE IN THE SALE AT THE BUYER S CONVENIENCE AND SELLER S COST. 6

5/192 LOW CHI 4/23/15 6 Sire: Liquid Courage Dam: Freestyle x 79G (Meyer 734) Last year, we were approached to sell a group of cows by great customers and friends who were looking to build a cow herd. While a decision like that is one that is very hard for a cow hoarder like myself to agree to, with the current drought conditions and lack of feed we were dealing with, I knew the timing was right. Selling a group of cows would not only accommodate our situation, but also provide a great opportunity to work with Silver State Cattle and still have access to some of the females we would otherwise not let go. Lot 5 and 6 are both heifers that resulted from those bred cows and we couldn t be more pleased they allowed us to offer these females. We feel like this brockle faced female is the kind that provides the opportunity to raise big time steer and heifer prospects with the diversity to achieve that depending on sire selection. Her mother raised an I-80 heifer a few years back that Brad Smith purchased. 5/524 LOW CHI 6/5/15 Sire: Liquid Courage Dam: Dr Who x Full Throttle 7 How about this one!? For those of you that weren t believers, I hope we are getting closer with these Liquid Courage heifer calves. This one is young and we contemplated whether she was ready to sell, but figured her popularity would make up for her youth! Her mother sold through a past sale and originally derived from Dave Strolberg out of his great Full Throttle donor. After a successful show career for Marc Miranda, she ended up landing at Wheeler Cattle where she is starting to make her mark. We all know it s hard to find these maternal bred females and even harder when they look like this. 7

5/801 8 COMMERCIAL 5/5/15 THF/ PHAC Sire: Whiskey Bent Dam: Lookout Heifers like these never go out of style, and this one has the look of a high dollar bred heifer. For those of you who search for potential donor prospects or like to trade them later as breds, this one has serious upside! Whiskey Genetics backed up out of a Lookout that happens to be a ¾ sister to the great Cabin Creek Sandy Donor of Schnoors. I don t know how much more I need to elaborate but I will tell you she is a personal favorite of mine! 5/006 9 CHI/SHORTHORN PLUS 3/21/15 THC/PHAF Sire: Smokin Bob Dam: Shorthorn Big time, show heifer prospect! This one is not only built to win, but can register as a Shorthorn Plus or a Chi. Out of a past successful show heifer of the Bartels family, this female offers unique look, flexibility and quality. Finding heifers that have foot size and bone work, yet stay clean in their joints, square in their build and still do it looking like a lady, is a hard feat. This heifer, however, does it to a high level and will find her way to the backdrop because of it! RODGERS LIVESTOCK WILL RETAIN THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES ON EACH FEMALE IN THE SALE AT THE BUYER S CONVENIENCE AND SELLER S COST. 8

10 18C 3/4 SIMMENTAL 1/20/15 Sire: Wheelman Dam: Annie K 330Y (Remmington Lock N Load) ANNIE K 330Y NATIONAL CHAMPION FEMALE 2014 FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW WHEELMAN A good Simmental is a hot commodity, and this perfectly structured, well built baldy will deliver no matter how you prioritize your needs. Those of you looking to show this one can hang banners. If your search leans toward a donor prospect, her lineage will add confidence and predictability! Her mother, the late Annie K certainly needs no introduction, the 2014 National Champion Female at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, with her first calf at her side made quite a stir. Three months later her first daughter commanded $12,000 in The Hunt and was a sale favorite by many. Her second public offering of the choice of three daughters garnered $19,000 at the recent Black Label Sale in Texas. If that is not enough, this great prospect s deceased sire, Wheelman, was the 2012 National Champion purebred bull in Denver. The Wheelman sired cattle have exceeded even the high expectations of many with his ability to sire real world performance and function without sacrificing the quality it takes to generate winning show heifers alike. We hope you ll agree this female is special, the kind that can win shows and change the directions of a program! 9

503C 11 MAINTAINER/ 3/8 SIMMENTAL 1/3/15 Sire: I-80 Dam: Sherrif Taylor And they just keep rolling in! We are so excited about the lineup of heifers we have to offer this year. Over the last few years, Red River Farms have been great supporters of our sale and purchased some elite females from our program. Mullions have taken a very aggressive approach to laying in some of the best females across the country to add to their already great cow base, and it couldn t be more evident than with the following two heifers! This big time I-80 daughter offers the opportunity to show both a percentage Simmental and a Maintainer depending on your preference, but no matter how you choose to show her, one thing is for sure, she will be tough to get around! 517C 12 1/4 SIMMENTAL 2/2/15 Sire: Wizard Dam: Freedom x Saugahatchee This great haired Wizard daughter is backed by a phenomenal Angus cow who was a past champion herself for the Judge girls, and raised the Supreme Female at the California State Fair this year. While we feel she will be successful as a show heifer, her ability to be used in a variety of roles as a breeding piece garners the most value. Breed her to Simmental or Maine influence sires to create valuable show heifer projects or jump in and use a composite to breed her for a steer. The possibilities are endless with a female like her! RODGERS LIVESTOCK WILL RETAIN THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES ON EACH FEMALE IN THE SALE AT THE BUYER S CONVENIENCE AND SELLER S COST. 10

A new twist this year for our sale is the addition of these two Angus who happen to be flush mate sisters. In 2007, we purchased their very unique mother from the Schnoor Sisters with a vision to create Angus show heifers and half-blood females. Well, after she struck twice and raised two incredible Angus females, one going to the Coy and Schmidt family and the other going to Alexis Watje who went on to be the winningest heifer that year on the circuit with over 9 grand or reserve banners, we kept flushing her Angus. The result has been very consistent and included the Reserve Grand Champion Bull at Cow Palace and Reserve Division Winner at American Royal and Reno for the Silveria Bros and Colburns. While we aren t known for our Angus, we do know that these have hard to come by merit, the kind that can be used in so many applications. From their ability to win shows, to be used in the production of half-blood Simmy s or Maintainers or to continue to carry the torch and raise good looking quality Angus cattle these are the kind with purpose! 5/054 ANGUS 2/4/15 Sire: Style Dam: Structure x Lutton 13 MATERNAL SISTER TO 13 & 14 5/080 ANGUS 1/24/15 Sire: Style Dam: Structure x Lutton 14 11

5/2C600 15 LOW CHI 2/21/15 THF/ PHAF Sire: Dr Who Dam: Monopoly x 600 (Carneyman) The pasture favorite of many, and sure to be a favorite in the ring! This neat, marked heifer has the incredible presence and look it takes to make a big bred heifer and win the toughest of shows. Her pedigree, combined with the fact that she is double clean, leaves incredible value when her banner grabbing days are over. Not much more needs to be said other than you can t reap the benefits if you re not the last bidder standing! 5/076 RL 600 16 LOW CHI 2/24/15 Sire: Fu Man Chu Dam: 659S Carneyman One of my favorite Chi show heifer prospects we are offering this year, and out of a no miss cow. This one is a big time breeding heifer. Her mother has raised countless champion steers including the most recent Grand Champion Steer at the 15 Cow Palace and several high selling heifers including a Monopoly daughter that is leading her way in White Lake, SD! She was a little green picture day, but if you are searching for a trendy show heifer, you better study this one! RODGERS LIVESTOCK WILL RETAIN THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES ON EACH FEMALE IN THE SALE AT THE BUYER S CONVENIENCE AND SELLER S COST. 12

5/761 17 LOW CHI 3/14/15 Sire: Walks Alone Dam: WCC 24 (Reimanns Firewater x Dr Who) Another great breeding heifer show prospect that is built like a lady, and is a maternal sister to the Lot 1 and 2 heifers in the sale. To add to her value, she also is double clean which will provide endless options once her show career is over. Serious showman pay attention, this one will have friends wherever she goes. 5/817 18 LOW CHI 3/2/15 Sire: Monopoly Dam: 934 (Irish Whiskey) The breeding heifer mate to our high selling market heifer last year to Wade Rodgers that ended up Reserve at Nebraska AGR and Reserve Division 3 at the Iowa Beef Expo. While she could not have been more different, this heifer gives a more lady-like version of quality being longer and flatter in her muscle and bigger bodied. A great show heifer with a little added chrome. Look her up sale day. You will be more impressed with this heifer in real life than the picture she took! 13

527C 19 LOW CHI 3/3/15 Sire: Monopoly Dam: 223Z (Irish Whiskey) Pay close attention because there is a pattern forming. This incredible Monopoly daughter is out of a past high selling Irish Whiskey (223Z) that happened to be Lot 1 in our sale and is a maternal sister to the Lot 5 heifer in this sale. 223Z is also the mother to the Mercedes Benz bred heifer that sells as Lot 31 that we feel is one of the best we have offered, making them maternal sisters. We retained half interest in 223Z when we sold her and she is proving to be everything we anticipated for us and the Red River Farms. Great females have great mothers and this one is no exception. She is built like show winners need to be built and has incredible hair and the markings to set her apart from the rest. 5/03 20 LOW CHI 4/2/15 THC/PHAF Sire: Monopoly Dam: Who Made Who Here is the full sister to the Reserve Grand Heifer at the Colorado State Fair in 2014! Another sale highlight that should compete extremely well in the Chi division. She has worlds of body, is very sound and well balanced. They say lightening doesn t strike twice, but she s bringing the thunder! This one will be a really fun show heifer to drag all year. RESERVE GRAND HEIFER 2014 COLORADO STATE FAIR 14

5/105 21 1/4 SIMMENTAL 4/15/15 Sire: Wizard Dam: Dr Who x K42 (Cunia 602) This heifer is bred to the hilt! Her grandmother, the famous K42 cow originating from Kroupa and now residing at Geist Cattle, is one of my all-time favorites. Her mother is starting her young career out with a bang and this Wizard is going to make an incredible cow. She possesses the same moderation of frame, body and impeccable structure that K42 lineage have become famous for. 5/15 22 MAINTAINER 3/17/15 Sire: 1-80 Dam: Angus A really nice Maintainer show heifer that has a ton of potential as a cow prospect when her show career is over. The ability of these half-blood females to generate has been well documented, and this heifer has the tools that have made them famous. An outstanding female that has great balance, body and the skeletal correctness that it takes to compete in the breeding heifer shows. 15

5/2B600 23 MAINTAINER 2/21/15 THC/PHAF Sire: I-90 Dam: Irish Whiskey x 600 Carneyman I-90 has done an outstanding job for us, and this heifer is a great testament as to why. They are great looking, powerful cattle that still do it with a maternal look. Their extra extension, great structure and look allows them to compete in the ring, and those same traits fit extremely well when mated to the bulls we have available to us today. 5/301 24 LOW CHI 5/4/15 THC/PHAF Sire: Smokin Bob Dam: RL 875 (Alias x GK M51 Thomas Outlaw) RL 875 GOLDIE LOCKS A younger heifer out of a lead donor who is hitting full steam. 875 started her career with a $10,000 Northern Improvement heifer. The following year she raised the many time champion market heifer that was shown by the Schnoor family. Last year, she furthered her resume when she raised Goldie Locks the new featured sire for Matt Lautner Cattle and three full sib brothers that hung several banners throughout California and Washington. Once again, she hit this year with another bull that will be promoted by Lautner, a trio of steers and a market heifer that highlighted our steer sale. This gem has been a favorite all summer. For those of you who collect breeding pieces out of great cows, or those of you who want to raise colored ones in the south, look close, the 875 line is a potent no miss cow family. 16

5/3026 25 LOW CHI 3/7/15 Sire: Smokin Bob Dam: Dr Who Another great cow family is represented by this heifer. Her mother has raised the Grand Market Heifer at the 2013 Cow Palace shown by Bartels, as well as the undefeated market heifer in 2010 shown by Paul Calac that went on to beat the steers at the San Diego County Fair. This heifer is built like a breeding heifer, but processes the same quality as her sisters. 5/1102 26 LOW CHI 4/8/15 Sire: Smokin Bob Dam: Strictly Business Another very fault free heifer that will make an outstanding show heifer. This extra correct female with great feet and legs will have the advantages in skeletal quality it takes to compete in the breeding heifer ring. 5/1602 27 LOW CHI 4/6/15 Sire: Smokin Bob Dam: Frictionx 602G A great show heifer with a unique pedigree that will make an exceptional breeding piece. Her mother is a Friction out of the legendary 602G herself. Additionally, this heifer is double clean which adds value to her already intriguing pedigree. Show this one to the backdrop then have fun taking advantage of her clean status to open up your breeding options. 17

5/87 28 LOW CHI 3/8/15 Sire: Monopoly Dam: Eskimoe Joe x Habanero If you like them with a little chrome, this might be the one for you! Her balance and soundness combined with a little extra color will surely get her noticed! 5/103 29 LOW CHI 4/12/15 Sire: Monopoly Dam: Carpe Diem This heifer was unfortunately not pictured, but definitely merited the opportunity as this baldy heifer is really neat to look at. She is great from the profile, extra sound and good bodied and has incredible hair. Make sure to look her up sale day. She is going to be a neat show heifer. 5/07 30 LOW CHI 4/19/15 THC/PHAF Sire: Walk This Way Dam: Intense Plus This cool baldy is going to make a really nice show heifer. She is very correct, good on her feet and legs and has all the tools to take on the road and be shown successfully. 18

BRED HEIFERS 4/223 MAINTAINER 3/28/14 THF/PHAC 31 Sire: Mercedes Benz Dam: 223Z (Irish Whiskey x 504) 4/13026 AI Date 5/22 Silverias Style The two bred heifers we are offering are two of the best females we have offered to date. This lot not only is exceptional from a phenotypic standpoint, but is also bred to be great. Her Mother, 223Z, was Lot 1 and the high seller in our 2012 sale where we sold half interest to Red River Farms. She is also the mother of Lot 19 in this sale. Mercedes Benz has proven to be a great maternal sire and there is no debating what Irish Whiskey and Meyer have done within our industry. The opportunities to purchase females of this caliber don t come along often. We feel that way too often females are marketed with the terminology labeling them future donors, however, in this case, we feel it s warranted. If you are searching for a female that can immediately go into a donor role when she is done calving, and you can feel confident to base your program around, you may not want to let this opportunity pass you by. MAINTAINER 3/5/14 32 MATERNAL SISTER TO 32 CHAMPION MARKET HEIFER 2013 COW PALACE DAM OF 32 Sire: Ali Dam: Monopoly x 3026 (Dr Who) AI Date 5/22 Silverias Style It s going to be a challenging decision to make on sale day, which female to purchase between these two bred females. Lot 32 also has great history behind her and the cow family she represents has left a mark around here. Her grandmother, 3026, was bred by Brendon Benson. She is a Dr Who out a really good Stop n Think cow I purchased for him from Greg Kroupa. 3026 has been a great producer. She raised an Immortal heifer that the Calac Family showed to an undefeated title as a market heifer and then she raised the monopoly daughter who won the market heifer show at the Cow Palace for Travis Bartels (the Dam of Lot 32). She was an incredible female, and after her win at the Cow Palace, Machado s approached us to purchase her. After a hard decision, we sold her and retained interest. Lot 32 is her first calf and happens to be double clean. If you have been paying attention, some of the very best show steers and promotional bulls have been out of Ali cows that are backed by either Monopoly or Heatwave on the bottom side of their pedigree. Because of her clean status, the opportunity to line up those genetics when breeding her back should prove to be extremely profitable. Her maternal sister sired by Troubador just brought $10,500 in the Double Shot sale. We are very confident in this female and feel that the track record around her proves what she is capable of herself! 19
