Steps for Joining USCSS, Registering Dog and Entering this Trial: 1. All competitors must become a member of USCSS, which is free. Competitors may join here: http://members.uscaninescentsports.com/signup. 2. Competitors must then register their dog(s) through the USCSS website. Each registration includes a one-time $25.00 fee. Competitors may register their dogs here: http://members.uscaninescentsports.com/login?redirectto=http://members.uscaninesce ntsports.com/dog/register 3. When logged into their account on the USCSS website, competitors may then scroll down to the LOCAL EVENTS section, find the trial they are interested in entering and click on the ENTER button. 4. Competitors may then select which dog they are entering and select which Classes and/or Games they are entering. 5. Competitors will then receive a confirmation email with details regarding their entry and instructions on how to submit payment for their entry. All payments will be sent directly to the trial host, not USCSS. The confirmation email will specify how payment will be made (e.g. via PayPal, mailed check, etc.). Refund Policy/Event Cancellation For cancellation of entries on or before 5:00pm MT, October 31, 2017 Full refund minus $5 processing fee. No refunds allowed after the pre-entry closing date except in the case of injured dogs (Veterinary note will be required). Refund will be 50% and those seeking a refund must request by 8:30 am on the day of the trial. Vet note must be received by Monday after trial and can be sent to sandy@prairiedogacres.com. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. Every attempt will be made to hold this event as scheduled. In the event of an act of God such as flood or fire, or civil disturbances or any other causes beyond the control of the organizing committee, the event may be canceled. We will make every attempt to contact entrants and inform them of the cancellation. Check-in time is 8:00am Briefing time is 8:30am First dog on the line at 9:00am Dogs must have valid USCSS registration numbers to compete in this trial. Handler may run multiple dogs, but titling dog must be run first. AWARDS: High in Trial rosette High Rescue in Trial rosette High Champion of record rosette Dogs must be entered in a minimum of 4 classes at each trial to be eligible for any HIT awards 1st - 4th place overall 1st - 4th place per class MEALS: Please be advised, part of the agreement with May Farms for use of this trial site is they provide all food. If you bring your own outside food you are required to consume it at your vehicle. VOLUNTEERS: YES! You can volunteer and compete in the same trial! All volunteers will run their dogs first before assuming their volunteer assignments. Every Trial relies on great volunteers to run smoothly and efficiently. Please sign up to volunteer at this trial if you can. Volunteers will earn Prairie Bucks to use as meal vouchers at the trial or can be saved for future Prairie Dog Acres Trials. All Volunteers will earn raffle tickets for the workers raffle each day.
