EACH ENTRY MUST BE MAILED IN A SEPARATE ENVELOPE (Rule 6.1.19). No hand-delivered, faxed, telephoned or e-mailed entries will be accepted. Rule 6.6.1: The trial secretary will notify the entrant on the day the entry is received. Once the advertised limit has been reached, all remaining entries will be assigned a position on the Alternate list in the order that they are received. On the closing date the club will notify all applicants of their position in the test or on the alternate list as such case may be by mail or e-mail. PAYMENT Please make all cheques or money orders payable to: The English Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada Rule 4.1 (m): A listing fee as established by the Canadian Kennel Club ($8.40) must accompany the entry of a dog for which the Canadian Kennel Club individual registration number or Event Registration Number (ERN) or Performance Event Number (PEN) is not shown on the entry form. U.S. entrants may pay fees by money order in Canadian Funds OR by personal check in U.S. funds for the full amount of the fees. Personally discounted cheques will not be accepted and please do not mark cheques payable in Canadian funds as these will not be accepted. If a dog successfully earns a title in this test and the dog is wholly owned by a resident of Canada who is NOT a CKC member, he or she must either become a member of the CKC or pay a non-member participation fee in order for the title to be awarded. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved to the next level. This fee covers all titles and dogs owned by that individual. Tendering a post-dated or NSF cheque will be considered as non-payment and will subject the issuer of the NSF cheque to a $25.00 handling fee REFUNDS As soon as respective tests have been filled, entries are automatically closed even though the published closing date may not have been reached (rule 6.2.1). An entry received after entries have closed will be assigned a position on the alternate list. If a dog is

withdrawn after entries are closed, refunds will only be permitted where there is an Alternate available and actually fills the vacancy on the test day. If an entrant pulls out of the test and his or her position is filled by an alternate who accepts the position, then the alternate is now responsible for the entry fee paid to the club. (Rule 6.6.1). Anyone on the alternate list may request a refund at any time prior to the test day. BITCHES IN SEASON Bitches in season may compete but they will run last.
