This trophy is to be awarded to the highest scoring AKC Champion of Record qualifying in Herding Started. This trophy, first offered in 2011, will remain in the possession of the ABdFC Trophy Chairperson and be displayed annually at the ABdFC National Specialty. Each winner shall have its name and date engraved on a brass plaque and mounted on the wood base at the donors expense. The annual winner will receive a commemorative engraved frame offered by the American Bouvier Rescue
Notice to Exhibitors TEST/TRIAL SITE will be available to exhibitors from 7:00 am to 6:00 p.m. each day, or one hour after conclusion of event. ENTRIES CLOSE at the Herding Test/Trial Secretary s office on Friday, September 14, 2011 at 5:00 p.m., or when numerical limits are reached, if prior to that day, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, altered or substituted. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG AND YOURSELF. We ask the cooperation of exhibitors in helping to keep the Test/Trial location as clean as possible in order for us to retain the use of this facility for future Tests/Trials. RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Trial Secretary will add a $25.00 fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being on a cash only basis. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT FEES OR SIGNATURE. Entries not on official forms and photocopies of entry forms without the Release Form on the reverse side of the entry form are not acceptable. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. NO REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATED ENTRIES, ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms and no entry fee will be refunded in the event of such. ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by actions of the test/trial committee. Entry fees will not be refunded if the test/trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disturbance, fire or act of God, public emergencies, act of public enemy, strike or any other cause beyond the control of the club. DOGS NEED TO BE PRESENT for scheduled judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dog in the ring. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEAD EXCEPT WHEN BEING JUDGED IN THE ARENA. AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that the Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline and the Rules for Herding Tests & Trials have been made available to me (us), and that I (we) agree that the club holding this Herding Test or Trial has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the herding Test or Trial and of the opportunity to have the dog tested or judged and to win ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the Herding Test or Trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury, be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this Herding Test or Trial, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons. I (we) will pay for any livestock injuries or replacement value in the event of death of any livestock by my (our) dog. In case of any injury to any stock caused by the dog entered, I (we) will assume total responsibility for any damage. I (we) agree to pay the full market value of the injured animal in case of serious injury, or the veterinarian bill if the injury is slight.
