NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations, including but not limited to the following rules regarding entry and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of the trial. Safety shall always be the foremost consideration in actions and conduct by dogs and handlers at all times. All healthy, trained dogs over eighteen (18) months of age are eligible to compete in NADAC agility trials. Bitches in heat, lame or blind dogs are ineligible for entry, as is any dog with a deformity which may cause a judge to not be able to reasonably assess the dog s ability to function and perform agility obstacles safely, and in a manner that is in the best interest, health and welfare of the dog. Dogs MUST be registered with NADAC to compete. All dogs must have a NADAC Registration Number when entering this event. Any dog that demonstrates aggression towards any person or any dog whether inside the ring or outside the ring, may be excused from the agility trial. Any dog which the judge feels is not in enough control to perform all obstacles in a safe manner may be excused from the agility trial. Handlers MUST enter their dog(s) in the Novice Class if they have never shown that dog at a NADAC trial. The Trial Committee may refuse any entry on the basis expressly provided through NADAC rules and regulations or guidelines established by NADAC. Anyone currently not in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $25 service charge for all returned checks. There shall be no refunds for entries withdrawn after the closing date, or in the event that the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a judge or the club, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. In addition, no entry fees will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strike, or any other cause beyond the control of the Club. Refunds, minus administration fees, will be made if a Veterinarian s certificate of proof of injury or illness of the dog or a bitch in season is submitted to the Trial Secretary PRIOR TO CHECK-IN ON MAY 30, 2014. This event will be held outdoors at a football field on grass. The entire football field is fenced in, with open gates spaced around the field. All exhibitors are responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dog(s) and/or children engage in disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such a case no refund of entries will be made. The Club, its agents or assigns will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Dogs must be on leash anywhere on the show grounds property, or in crates when not competing in the ring. NO dogs may be tied to fences, cars, trees or other obstacles at any time. No leads, collars, food, toys, balls, clickers or other aids or devices shall be permitted on the course at any time. No food, toys, balls, or other training devices may be used within ten (10) feet of the entrance to the ring. We recommend that you bring your own shade and water. Water will be available onsite to fill dog pools. Ribbons will be awarded to first through fourth places in all jump heights in all classes. Ribbons will be awarded for those achieving a qualifying score. There will be no placement ribbons awarded in Chances as it is a pass/fail class. Check-in and Measuring: Friday: Check-in and measuring dogs jumping 16 and under will begin at 4 p.m., first dog on the line at 4:30 p.m. Saturday check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. All dogs entered in proficient and not jumping 20 or 20+ and without permanent cards must be measured. For dogs not entered on Saturday, check-in and measuring will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. on Sunday morning. Dogs entered in the Skilled classes do not need to be measured. Please be on time for check-in and have your dog ID card/permanent card with you. First dog on the line at 8:00 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

ALL RV S WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARK ON THE PAVED SLAB BY THE REC BUILDING. Please read your entry carefully and WRITE LEGIBLY! Please enter your dog at the height you intend it to jump. The show secretary cannot second guess your wishes. Your dog will jump at the height indicated on your entry form. There will be no changes except in the case of a measure up or down from the judge. IMPORTANT: Please check your dog s NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it. Also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the clubs are uploaded to www.nadacforum.com within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the Forum by going to www.nadacforum.com and submitting your request. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. LEVELS: Points earned at a higher level of the class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog s records. Proficient/Skilled Categories Each class will be split into two categories, Proficient and Skilled. In the Skilled Category, dogs must jump 4 lower than indicated by the current jump height table. No dog may jump less than 4. In the Regular class only, dogs entered in the Proficient or Skilled Category may incur 5 or fewer faults (course/time), and earn a 5 pt. qualifying round. ***Effective January 2014: dogs which will be 9 years old on the first day of the trial must enter the Veteran Division. Dogs which will be 12 years old on the first day of the trial must enter the Skilled Category, Veteran Division. NON-JUMPING CLASSES - VETERAN OR DISABLED HANDLER Handlers who are 60 years or older, or who have a disability that restricts mobility, may choose to enter the nonjumping classes as Veteran Handler and receive 10% more time. This option is for Veteran/Disabled handlers in the non-jumping classes only. The Veteran/Disabled Handler Division is designed for handlers who, due to age or impairment, are mobility limited and need extra time to guide their canine partners through an agility course. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all dogs in all classes for the entire trial in this Division and must jump 4 lower than your Proficient Standard Division jump height requires. In the nonjumping classes, dogs will be scored and placed with their Standard Division jump height. A copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free from the NADAC website: www. nadac.com. Exhibitors may request a printed copy of the current Exhibitor Handbook by sending $5.00 to NADAC,66955 Gist Rd., Bend, OR 97701.
