GAMES SNAKES & LADDERS: The course will consist of 14-20 obstacles: The ladders: three contacts and a 12 pole weave, (can only be taken in the direction UP the course). The Snakes: four tunnels, of which one may be a flat tunnel, (can only be taken in the direction DOWN the course). The remaining obstacles must be made up of Jumps (can be taken from any direction) The idea of the game is to complete all Snakes and Ladders successfully and as many jumps as possible in the allotted course time. TIME GAMBLE: Despite having Gamble in the title, Time Gamble has nothing to do with distance work. The gamble is that the handler must guess the time it will take his dog to run the course. The class is scored Time, Plus Faults so that the handler s guess must also include any faults he thinks the dog might pick up on course. RUN TIL YOU DROP: Run Til You Drop challenges the handler to correctly estimate the dog s working speed, accumulating as many points as possible within the allotted time. Scoring and time ends on the teeter as the last obstacle (the drop!) doubling the dog s score only if time has not expired. Run Til You Drop is scored Points, Then Time. TAG 10: The purpose of Tag 10 is to accumulate points in 10-point blocks and to accumulate as many of those 10-point sets as possible. Sixty seconds are allotted for play. SCAMPER is a dog s strategic choice game featuring a pipe tunnel surrounded by other obstacles (usually only 5 or 6) only once followed by a central pipe tunnel. Scamper is scored Time, Plus Faults. MINUET: On the surface, the Minuet is a simple game with a simple sequence repeated over and over again. The dog and handler have 50 seconds. Repeat the sequence as a continuous loop until the expiration of time. Additional information on the games can be found in: The Clean Run Book of Agility Games 3rd Edition by Bud Huston _ Available at http://www.dogagility.org/newstore Disabled Handlers A time exemption will be granted to disabled handlers amounting to 4 seconds for Standard course times and 4 seconds for qualifying course times for games class. The proof of the disability shall be the handler s disability parking tag or other documentation. There will be no special system of titling for disabled handlers. Checklist Completed Entry Form(s) for EACH dog entered. Please write clearly to ensure accuracy of the information. Completed Agreement Form(s) for EACH dog entered. A dog with a higher title from another organization may move up on the same day to the next level of TDAA competition with a qualifying score. It is possible to move up from Beginner to Superior on the same day if the dog qualifies first in Beginner and again in Intermediate. Likewise, a dog may move up from Games I to Games III by qualifying at each of the lower two levels. A qualifying score in the lower class is required to move up to the next higher class. The dog s owner must submit a copy of title certificates for the dog. Please mark each that apply and submit $8.00 with this FAST TRACK Move-Up Request form. Payment of the $8.00 is not a guarantee that your dog will qualify at the lower level and is non-refundable. This fee must be paid for this trial even if a Fast Track fee has been paid in the past.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS * The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. * All dogs must be on leash or crated at all times except when in the ring or when in designated areas, being the warm-up area and the designated off leash area. It is expressly understood the exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. * In such case, no refund of any fees will be made. * Food and toys are not permitted in the course area and handlers are not allowed to use whistles or other instruments or devices. * Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. * Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group if they wish. * At the handler s option, the dog may wear a flat (buckle or quick release) collar with or without tags or wear adornments, clothing, ties or other attachments. Choke collars, pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited. * Unsportsmanlike conduct, including rough handling or misconduct of any kind, will result in an excusal from the ring. Teacup Dogs Agility Association Rules can be obtained online in the form of a PDF file at www.k9tdaa.com * Entries will not be accepted without fees. No entries will be accepted which require a signature for delivery. All entries must be submitted on official TDAA Agility Entry Forms, one dog per entry form. * Photocopied entries without the TDAA agreement on the back are NOT acceptable. Unsigned, incomplete or illegible entries are NOT acceptable and cannot be entered in the trial. Faxed entries and/or credit cards cannot be accepted. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. * The Trial Secretary will add a $30.00 service charge for any returned checks. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. * Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. * No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, and act of God, public emergency, and act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. * Bitches in season are not permitted at the trial. The club will refund all but $5.00 of the entry fee for bitches unable to compete for that reason. The Trial Secretary must receive written notification from a Veterinarian of such claim for refund by letter (not email) before April 8, 2013. Height Divisions Owners are responsible for entering the proper height division. Judges reserve the right to measure dogs entered in any trial. At the handler s option, dogs may be entered in a higher height division, but not in a lower than their proper height division. Dogs that run in a height division lower than their division will be eliminated. A judge must measure provisional dogs. 2 jump height - restricted to dogs measuring 4" or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 8 or less 4 jump height - restricted to dogs measuring 8" or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 12 or less 8 jump height - restricted to dogs measuring 12 or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 16 or less. 12 jump height restricted to dogs measuring 16" or less at the withers; or dogs with a jump height exemption measuring 20 or less. 16 jump height restricted to dogs measuring 20 or less at the withers. Special provisions are made for the dogs that are long-backed, or dogs whose depth of chest is greater than his legs length. E1 - Long backed dogs The long-backed dog would be based on the measurements of the dog from the front of the chest to the back of his rear compared to the measurement of the dog s height at the withers. As a rule of thumb, if the dog s length is 150% or greater than the height measurement, the dog would qualify for this exemption. E2 - Weight to length provision (by structure, not obesity) This exemption should be limited to certain breeds that have a propensity for weight that is greater than their height if you compare pounds to inches. E 3 - Dogs with dwarfish legs/deep chest dogs This exemption is granted to dogs whose leg to shoulders height ratio is 1/3 or less of the dog s overall height. The exemption for dog s with dwarfish legs in based on the measurement of the dog s withers height, when that height is 150% or greater than the measurement of the space from the floor to chest veteran dog is a dog at least 7 years of age. There is no special system of titling for veteran dogs. A dog also may be given a waiver to jump at a lower height even though he does not meet any of the criteria for a jump height exemption. A waiver will be given to a dog for extraordinary circumstance. Dogs given a waiver to a lower jump height will be able to earn qualifying legs and all TDAA titles. If you do not have a TDAA height card your dog must be measured. 2015 TDAA PETIT PRIX Check the Website for information www.k9tdaa.com * DDV - New starting now in TDAA Dogs may be given another exemption for double-digit Veteran status (age 10 or above). It gives an additional height exemption but no additional time.
