Most flea and tick preventives are designed to be administered monthly, and remembering to use them every month can be a hassle. Seresto is easy to apply to your dog or cat and provides treatment that lasts 8 months. It kills fleas within 24 hours and kills reinfesting fleas within 2 hours. It kills ticks within 48 hours after initial application and kills reinfesting ticks within 6 hours. If your cat is not used to collars Please carefully observe your cat when it s wearing a collar for the first few days, especially when the cat is not used to having a collar around its neck. Try using a tasty treat, toy or other activity to distract your cat s attention from the new collar. Occasionally slight itching may be observed in the first few days of fitting in cats that are not used to wearing collars.
