Continued From page 12 -RETURNED CHECKS/DECLINED CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS do not constitute a valid entry fee. Fees must be paid in guaranteed funds. Checks will not be accepted. The Secretary will add a fee for completing the transaction and/or reprocessing the entries. Repeated occurrences from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. -Entry Fee will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. -Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. -No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club or the Secretary. -The show giving Club, the Show Secretary, their agents, employees, etc, assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. -No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures or the Agreement on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form. -Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable. -Most Hotels have Pet Fees, some are not refundable and Hotel rules & fees DO change. -Be sure to verify pet rules and fees when making your reservation. -When making reservations & checking into your rooms, please be sure to declare the correct number of people & dogs that will be staying in your room. -NOTICE: Hotels, Motels, RV Parks, etc. are considered a part of the show site. -Please keep your room and/or area clean so that the rest of us can enjoy the facilities again. -Damage to Hotel/Motel/RV property will be subject to Event Committee Hearing & Action. 4 13

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS Notices/Disclaimers -The use of private ex-pens and chalking is NOT allowed in the show building. -Chalking/blowing of chalk will be allowed in an outside covered designated area. -Exhibitors are encouraged to stack crates if convenient to conserve space. -Show building is climate controlled and fully matted. Exhibitors are encouraged to keep their area clean of fur and product. The use of tarps in your area is extremely encouraged. -Rules applying to Dog Shows, effective January 1, 2010. Chapter 11, Section 1. No dog shall be exhibited in a licensed or member dog show, except for dogs entered in the Miscellaneous Class unless it is either individually registered in the AKC Stud Book, or individually registered with a foreign registry organization whose pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration. -Show site will be available to exhibitors at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 23 2018. -Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best of Breed judging on Sunday, February 25, 2018. -Club reserves the right to remove any animal in distress from a parked vehicle or crate in any way necessary. Collie Club of Austin solely determines if said animal is in distress. All persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against the club for such removal. -Flyers with emergency instructions are available for everyone at secretary table. -The club reserves the right to cancel shows due to extreme adverse and/or dangerous weather conditions. -Collie Club of Austin does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event. -There will be no refund for duplicate entries. -Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. -Dogs allowed in rings during judging only. -Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Secretaries will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. -All dogs present must be on leash or confined to crates when not being judged. -Exhibitors are responsible for picking up after their own dogs. -Neither the Collie Club of Austin nor Austin Canine Central management will be responsible for the safety or well-being of dogs nor other property left at the site overnight. - The Clubs reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. -All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - None will be mailed. This award is to be offered by the Collie Club, and for permanent possession must be won three times by the same owner, not necessarily with the same dog or at consecutive shows. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION NOVICE JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. NOVICE SENIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 15 and under 18 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. OPEN JUNIOR CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 9 and under 12 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class. OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS - For Boys and Girls at least 12 and under 15 years of age on the day of the show who at the time entries close, have won three (3) first place awards in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice Class. MASTER CLASS - For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be November 1 - October 31 of the following year. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry without charge, the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to compete for the following year. PAYPAL is available.
