Dogs Eligible to Enter: : This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club, have AKC Limited Registration, have an AKC ILP, PAL or FSS number or an AKC Canine Partners listing number. Dogs eligible for entry in the Miscellaneous Class at dog shows may participate provided that they are AKC registered. Spayed bitches and neutered males are eligible to participate. Bitches in season, aggressive dogs, dogs that are blind or suffering from any deformity, injury or illness, which may affect its ability to perform agility obstacles, are ineligible to participate. Refer to the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials for complete requirements. JUMP HEIGHT DIVISIONS Regular Classes Preferred Classes For Dogs 8 4 11 and under at the withers 12 8 14 and under at the withers 16 12 18 and under at the withers 20 16 22 and under at the withers 24 20 Over 22 at the withers 26 Dogs may be entered at this height at the owner s discretion. Exhibitors and/or handlers are responsible for entering their dogs in the proper height classification. Handlers may opt to run in a higher division, but not a lower height than their proper height division. Dog entered in the Preferred Class must jump the specified height. ENTRIES. Entries are accepted on a First Received basis at the address of the trial secretary. No hand deliveries will be accepted during the first 24 hours after the trial opens. Entry Forms MUST be filled out completely. Incomplete entries do not constitute a valid entry. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors and, no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after published closing date. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the form are not acceptable. Unsigned Entry forms cannot be accepted, or entries that specify any conditions as to

their acceptance. For limited trials, entries for a maximum of ten (10) dogs are allowed in each envelope submitted to the Trial Secretary. Envelopes containing entries for more than the ten (10) dog maximum shall be treated as an invalid entry and shall be returned to the sender. PLEASE PRINT OR TYPE CLEARLY. A maximum of 30 entries will be placed on the club s wait list. All entries, including wait listed entries, must be received by the Trial Secretary prior to December 21, 2017 @ 12:00 p.m. Any entries withdrawn that are received by December 19, 2016 will be replaced by a wait listed entry if any are available. If a withdrawn entry is replaced by a wait listed entry, a full refund will be issued for the withdrawn entry. Any wait listed entry that does not move off the wait list into the trial by [the withdraw date and time] will receive a full refund. NOTICE: This Club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event. MOVE UPS Dogs may be moved up to a higher class at the request of the owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title, provided that request is made to the Trial Secretary in writing (e-mail accepted) no later than Monday, January 1, 2018 at 6:00 pm. For Sat/Sun move-ups, the request must be made to the Trial Secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the completion of judging. OBSTACLES: Obstacles shall meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of Regulations for Agility Trials. All jumps will be displaceable. 24 Weave poles will be used. COURSE FAMILIARIZATION & WARM-UPS: Handlers in all classes are permitted to walk the course, without a dog, prior to the start of the class, following the judges briefing. The walk-through allows handlers to plan their strategy for running the course. The walk-through is restricted to handlers entered in that class. A warm-up area consisting of one regulation agility jump shall be provided for all exhibitors. Exhibitors may not use the warm-up areas to relieve their dogs. JUMP HEIGHT CARD All dogs competing in AKC Agility must have a valid official AKC Jump Height Card. If your dog does not have a card, (or if a temporary card has expired), you must have your dog measured prior to running any course, except dogs in the 24 /26 class. If an AKC rep or a VMO is present, then all dogs without height cards must be measured before running. PLEASE NOTE NEW AKC POLICY ON HEIGHT CARDS Jump height cards are no longer required to be submitted with the entry form. The entry form has been changed so that you only need place a checkmark if the dog needs to be measured. If your dog needs to be measured, it is the handler s responsibility to ensure that the box on the entry form is checked and that the dog is measured prior to running. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION Pinch collars, electric and dummy electric collars are prohibited in the trial area. Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group, if they wish. The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Pensacola Dog Fanciers Association, Inc, its agents, etc., assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. It is expressly understood that the exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no refund of any entry fees will be made.

Exhibitors should follow their vet s recommendation to assure their dog(s) are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. The State of Florida requires proof of rabies vaccination. DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE: FROM WEST: I-10 TO Exit 5 (south on Nine Mile Road to Beulah Rd, (2.8 miles to 2 nd stop light), left on Beulah Rd (1.1 miles) to Mobile Hwy (Hwy 90), left on Mobile Hwy.7 miles to Arena on the left. There are no hotels at this exit. Proceed to exit 10AB or exit 13 for hotels. FROM EAST: I-10 TO exit 7, south on Pine Forest Road (2.2 miles) to Blue Angel Parkway, right on Blue Angel (.5 miles) to Mobile Hwy (Hwy 90), right on Mobile Hwy (3.8 miles) to the arena on the right. RV HOOKUPS There are 34 RV sites with water & sewer, dump station with wash down and 50/30/110 individual electrical service. $18 per day + tax ($20.07 total) (includes water, electrical hookups and use of shower/restroom facilities).
