Copies of support documentation for all accomplishments and titles must be sent in with any entry for the Sieger, Champion or Working classes. 2. Your dogs original registration, hip certification and support documents for all accomplishments and titles MUST be available at the show for inspection at the time of the class. 4. A valid Hip Certification, pass or fail is required on all dogs over the age of 30 months. 5. The USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of titles earned and hip certification if the required information appears on the Registration Certificate. Regular Classes Puppy Classes: 4-6 Month Male/Female; 6-9 Month Male/Female; 9-12 Month Male/Female Youth Classes: 12-18 Month Male/Female; 18-24 Month Male/Female Adult Classes: Open Male/Female: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older without a Schutzhund or IPO title, a Championship or Sieger/Siegerin title. Need not be USRC registered to compete. Champion Male/Female For all Rottweilers 24 months and older that have earned a Championship. This includes AKC and CKC Champions, International FCI Champions and any champion of Record from a country whose Championship was awarded by an FCI recognized kennel club. Working Male/Female: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older with a USRC recognized SchH/VPG/IPO title who have not earned a USRC Sieger or Siegerin title. Sieger/Siegerin Class: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older that have earned a Sieger or Siegerin title from a USRC National or Regional Show or have been awarded the USRC Universal Sieger or Siegerin title. Dogs eligible to enter the Sieger or Siegerin class may not enter the Open, Champion or Working class; however, the dog may enter the Veteran Class if the dog s age permits. Veteran Male/Female: For all Rottweilers 7 years or older on the day of the show. Veteran class entries are not eligible for titles and receive only critiques, no ratings or placements. Kennel Group: Entered by the Kennel owner. Three or more dogs bred by the Kennel Owner and registered with the Kennel Name of the entrant. The Kennel Owner need not be the registered owner of the dogs. All dogs must first be entered in the show's regular classes. Written critiques are not given. Brood Bitch: Entered by the owner of the brood bitch. The brood bitch and at least two of her produce must appear in the ring. The bitch must have a USRC recognized Breed Test and have been at least 24 months of age at the time of breeding. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the produce. The owner of the brood bitch need not be the owner of the produce. The produce must first be entered in the show's regular classes. Written critiques are not given. Stud Dog: Entered by the owner of the stud dog. The stud dog and at least two of his get must appear in the ring. The dog must have a USRC recognized Breed Test and have been at least 24 months of age at the time of breeding. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the get. The owner of the stud dog need not be the owner of the get. The get must first be entered in the show's regular classes. Written critiques are not given.
Page 3 ADDITIONAL SHOW INFORMATION Once a dog is eligible for the Champion, Working or Sieger/Siegerin class, the dog may not enter the Open Class. When a dog is eligible for more than one class, the dog s owner determines the entry. Photocopies of support documents for all titles and accomplishments must be sent with entry; original documents must be available for inspection at the show. A valid Hip Certification, pass or fail is required on all dogs over the age of 30 months. Page 4 ENTRY FEES Puppies (4-12 month)...$75.00 Youth (12-24 month)...$75.00 Adults...$75.00 Non-Regular Classes..$75.00 $10 PER ENTRY SHOULD BE ADDED FOR NON-USRC MEMBERS This is a German style conformation show. The decision of the Körmeister is final. No dog shall be permitted to enter any class with missing teeth. Docked dogs born prior to January 1, 2012 may be bred and bred to. USRC members may not dock tails. CLOSING DATE 2/24/2010 Dogs are shown in a natural stance; no hand stacking is allowed. Double handling is permitted; no food is allowed in the ring. Adult classes will be moved (run) long enough for the judge to evaluate dogs movement and fitness. You may change handlers as needed. Event will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Bring your own chairs and anything else you may deem necessary for comfort for you and your dogs. No dogs may be tied out at show site or ringside. Please do not bring unentered dogs to the show grounds. Please use designated areas to exercise your dogs and clean up after them. Dress is informal. Send all entries and required copies with check made payable to: SHOW RATINGS: ORIGINAL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE SHOW/BREED TEST SECRETARY AT CHECK IN. Page 5 BST Information LOCATIONS Copies of the following documents must be submitted with BST entry. SHOW FIELD 1. Copy of USRC Membership Card for both owner and handler. 2. Copy of USRC Registration for the dog being entered. 3. Copy of scorebook showing titles earned, scorebook number, and full name of dog. If the BH is earned after the close of entries, a copy of the scorebook showing the BH title must be presented to the BST secretary on the day of the Breed Test. 4. Copy of USRC recognized Hip Certification. All dogs must have their permanent identification indicated on their Hip Certification. 5. Copy of any prior BST attempts. 6. Copy of Weight Certificate dated within 30 days of the test date. 7. A copy of the USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of titles earned and hip certification if the required information appears on the Registration Certificate. The following ORIGINAL documents must be submitted to the BST Secretary on the day of the Breed Test. Entry into the BST will not be accepted without presenting these originals prior to taking the test. 1. USRC Membership Card for both owner and handler. A copy of the Membership card will be accepted on the day of the show. This exception to the original document requirements applies to the membership cards only. 2. USRC Registration Certificate for the dog being entered. 3. Scorebook showing titles earned, (minimum BH) scorebook number and full name of dog. 4. USRC recognized Hip Certification. All dogs must have their permanent identification indicated on their Hip Certification. 5. Prior BST attempts. 6. Weight certificate dated within 30 days of the test date. 7. The USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of titles earned and hip certification if the required information appears on the Registration Certificate.
