ATTENTION EXHIBITORS All trophies must be claimed on the day of the show. No trophies will be mailed. Remaining trophies become the property of the Club and the Club reserves the RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE trophies for one of equal or greater value. The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this event, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regula ons of this sport and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from compe on by ac on of the Event Commi ee. The Border Collie Society of America may cancel this event in extreme weather condi ons. Entry fees will not be refunded if the event cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, an act of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing commi ee. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disrup ve behavior may, at the discre on of the Event Commi ee, be asked to leave the event site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. All dogs must be on leash or crated at all mes except when in the ring. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Event Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for no fying exhibitors of their agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may have made such errors. No entry will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancella on of entries a er the published closing date. Errors in entries made by the exhibitor cannot be corrected a er the closing date. No dogs wrongly entered in a class may be transferred to another class except as provided for in Chapter 11, Sec on 6 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows: a correc on may be made in the sex of a dog, or a dog may be transferred from one division of the Puppy Class to another or between the Puppy and Twelve to Eighteen Month Class at a show prior to judging, and except that dogs which according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a championship a er the closing of entries for a show but whose championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed compe on, provided this transfer is made by the Event Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conforma on judging at the show. Dogs under 4 months of age are not permi ed on the show grounds of AKC Events. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommenda on to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites and any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccina ons. All dogs entering the Unites States must have had rabies shots at least thirty days and not more than one year before date of entry. This is a US Customs requirement. The Border Collie Society of America does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up a er their dog(s). Dogs may not be le una ended in the Event Center overnight. Dogs may not be le in closed vehicles without proper ven la on. If dogs are found in distress, BCSA will take appropriate ac on. Handbills, circulars or any other printed material may not be sold or distributed at these shows except for BCSA and Purina printed materials. No Flexi leads will be allowed in the building or ring area. No strollers or playpens will be allowed in the building. No professional photography or videotaping is permi ed without permission. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at the event site. NO SMOKING is allowed in the Purina Event Center. No one is permi ed anywhere that is marked Employees Only and/or No Admi ance. The show giving club, the Superintendent, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children.
