The following tles do not apply: Ins nct test cer ficate and any other non AKC tle. Entries in Herding Titled class may NOT be spayed or neutered 6

Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries Stud Dog Class For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed compe on, but must be entered in the Stud Dog class. The Get must be entered in one of the Regular Classes or, if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed compe on. The Stud Dog cannot be shown as the Get for another Stud Dog. The Stud Dog shall be considered one entry and requires one entry fee. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condi on that would require its disqualifica on or excusal under the dog show rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. Brood Bitch Class same as for Stud Dog except subs tute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. *Chapter 11, Sec on 8 of the "Rules Applying to Dog Shows" provides that a neutered male may be entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed Bitch may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class. Brace Class (Two dogs, one or more common owners) The dogs comprising a Brace must be named at the me the entry is made. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a Brace must be marked accordingly in the space provided for Addi onal Class if more than one Brace is entered by the same owner, the dogs comprising each Brace must be so designated Brace No. 1, Brace No. 2. As the judge's decision in the Stud Dog, Brood Bitch, and Brace classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won either of these classes. AKC National Owner Handled Series Please see www.akc.org For eligibility and rules Please check the box on the entry form if the entry is eligible for this competition BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR COMPETITION RULES: During the course of regular judging, the assigned judge will select a Best Bred By Exhibitor from the Bred By Exhibitor class winners. This will be done after the Best of Breed/Variety Competition unless the Best Bred By Exhibitor award is automatic. Example: An entry from the Bred By Exhibitor class is awarded Best of Winners or Best of Breed. Only dogs and bitches undefeated in a Bred By Exhibitor class are eligible for the Best Bred By Exhibitor Competition. If the first place winner is not present, the second place winner may not compete. NO ADDITIONAL FEE IS REQUIRED. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION Novice Junior 9 & under 12 yrs Open Junior 9 & under 12 yrs Novice Intermediate 12 & under 15 yrs Open Intermediate 12 & under 15 yrs Novice Senior 15 & under 18 yrs Open Senior 15 & under 18 yrs Novice Class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class. A first place in Novice without competition leading to a Best Junior award with competition would count as one win towards moving to Open at a licensed or member show. Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after the closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent or Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship judging at the show. Open Class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class or if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open in a licensed or member show. Master Class for boys & girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won 10 Best Junior wins with competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year. , Inc Most Versa le Miniature American Shepherd 2017 MV MAS Rules (Board Approved) PURPOSE: The Most Versa le Miniature American Shepherd (MV MAS) Compe on offered at a MASCUSA Na onal Specialty recognizes those dogs that exemplify the true meaning of the word versa lity by successfully compe ng in herding and companion compe ons and mee ng the AKC Miniature American Shepherd Breed Standard in the Versa lity Conforma on class. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all AKC registered Miniature American Shepherds, including neutered dogs and bitches. PAL/ILP dogs are ineligible. Bitches in heat will be allowed to run with possible restric ons (running last, wearing protec ve pan es, etc.) to be determined by the Versa lity Commi ee, as dictated by AKC Rules and Regula ons, or, in their absence, the Versa lity Chair. 2017 Ul mate Miniature American Shepherd (UA) Na onal s Special Awards Ul mate American The Ul mate American compe on is offered to showcase the amazing abili es of the Miniature American Shepherd. Unlike the tradi onal MV MAS program, Ul mate American, changes year to year, depending on which events are offered. A Miniature American Shepherd is a en ve and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. The Miniature American Shepherd has Excep onal agility combined with strength and stamina allows for working over a variety of terrain. This highly versa le, energe c dog makes an excellent athlete with superior intelligence and a willingness to please those to whom he is devoted. Dogs must be AKC registered Miniature American Shepherds to par cipate. New dog sports will be added in the future to further demonstrate the amazing abili es of the Miniature American Shepherd. Hos ng clubs must offer at least 3 events. ULTIMATE AMERICAN SCORING To qualify for the Ul mate American (UA) in 2017, one must qualify in at least 3 of the following categories (any level including ins nct) at Na onals: AKC Herding Ins nct/test/trial, AKC Agility, AKC Obedience, AKC Rally Obedience, NADD Dock Diving, Disc Dog, and Fast CAT. Placements will be awarded for 1 ST 4th; and all UA qualifiers will receive an award. 1st Place winner will earn the tle Ul mate American. If the 1 st place Ul mate American is also the 1 st place dog for MV MAS, they will be given the Iron Dog award. ULTIMATE AMERICAN SCORING A scorekeeper/chairperson will be assigned by MASCUSA or the Hos ng Club. It is the owner/handler's responsibility to check the scores as posted, and report to the Ul mate American chairperson any discrepancy no later than 2 hours prior to the me scheduled for awarding Ul mate American. Discrepancies may only be filed by the handler for the event where there is a discrepancy. The Ul mate American awards will be presented at the Award Ceremony. Judges placements/decisions for all events are final. Awards for Ul mate American are final once presented. The Ul mate American Chairperson will keep records for at least 1 year a er the event. THREE RIVERS KENNEL CLUB OF MISSOURI RV Parking at Purina Event Center Please Note: Quiet Hours are from 11 PM to 6 AM. RVs may not move in or out during quiet hours. Three Rivers Kennel Club of Missouri welcomes you to Purina Farms. Purina Farms has a great RV area. Please enjoy your stay and the shows. Three Rivers Kennel Club will take reservations for RV parking spots, at Purina, which will be available from 3:00pm on Monday, September 11, through Saturday night, September 16, 2017. RVs must leave by 8:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017, unless other arrangements are made. Fee is $30.00 per night on the full service upper lot. Reservations received without payment will not be accepted. Handicapped accessible RV spaces NOT available. Reservations will be accepted until Wednesday, August 31st. The RV Reservation Form can be found on page 19. It is important to have an email address on the reservation form so notification of your spot can be sent. There are 74 parking spaces. Refunds will not be made after entries close. Overflow parking is located on the gravel lots above the Main Show Field. The overflow lot is FREE but a RESER VATION is required. Spaces are first come; first served with a RESERVATION in spots 11 44 with no assigned spots. The lot offers 30 and 50 amp electric. There will be no RV parking on any blacktop parking lot. No Tent Camping allowed. All RVs will be REQUIRED to display a parking permit which will be handed out to those with reservations. The permits will be issued by Three Rivers Kennel Club. Please affix the permit to the door of the RV trailer or where it can be seen easily. Tow vehicle must be disconnected from RVs during your visit. A maximum of 2 cars affiliated with the RV may park in the RV spot. Any vehicle parking in an RV spot and not affiliated with the RV will be asked to move or be towed at the owner s expense. In case of a medical emergency in the RV lot in the evening or during the night, please turn on the RV s outside lights to help responders identify the RV. Exhibitors may not bring or use motorized vehicles, such as golf carts on Purina s property unless for a medical conditions. Documentation must be presented if requested by the staff at Purina. Such vehicles may not park on sidewalks. If you grill close to your camper, please let the coals burn overnight. In the morning, bag them and put them in a trash container. Your dogs safety is important. Please keep them on a leash or crated when not competing in an event. Exercise pens are not allowed around the Purina Event Center. Exercise pens on designated grassy areas should not have a floor or cover which could damage the grass. AN EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM MUST BE ON EVERY RV VEHICLE. THE FORM CAN BE FOUND ON PAGE 17. Dogs may NOT be left overnight on Monday, Sep 11, Tuesday, Sep 12, and Wednesday, Sep 13, 2017. A security guard will be in the building overnight on Thursday, Sep 14, Friday, Sep 15 and Sat, Sep 16, so dogs may be left in the Purina Event Center overnight on those evenings. Set up for grooming is available Thursday, September 14, 2016 from 4 PM to 6 PM for the TRKC cluster. In accordance with AKC policy, each dog that is left in in the facility overnight must be identified with a tag stating the owner/agent name and where they can be reached in case of an emergency. In the event of multiple entries, one tag will be sufficient provided it clearly outlines the number of dogs & the area in which they are crated. A tag will be available at the Superintendent s desk. RV PARKING GUIDELINES There are seventy four RV parking spaces behind the Purina Event Center. The fee for parking is $30.00 per night. Reservations will be made to the Three Rivers Kennel Club of Missouri (see RV parking information on Pages 19 20). Overflow parking will be located on the gravel lots above the outdoor show site. All RVs will be REQUIRED to show permit to park issued by THREE RIVERS KENNEL CLUB OF MISSOURI. Anyone not displaying required permit will be removed from the show site.
