Where does the Nile crocodile live? It lives most of Africa except North Africa, the Seychelles and the Comoros.

It weighs about 1090 kg. Facts and figures. The average size is 4 meters but sometimes it can measure up to 7 meters. It runs at 17 km/h.

What does it eat? Babies eat insects and small invertebrates. Adults eat fish, amphibians and reptiles. Exceptionally it eats antelopes, buffallos or young hippos.

What does it look like? It has four small legs but they are powerful. It has five toes on his front legs and four on his back legs which are webbed. It has a long triangular snout. Its eyes and nostrils are located on the top of its head.
