About The Site Lake Andrea is a 100 plus acres sand bottom quarry lake with 2.3 miles of shoreline. The test site has a grassy shoreline. Dogs will be swimming within 20 feet of the shore with the depth dropping off at 40 to 50 feet out. A large, grassy area for spectators, ample parking, and an enclosed air conditioned pavilion on site and overnight RV parking make this an optimal site. There are some small trees nearby for shade. However, participants may want to bring additional shade for their dogs, i.e., pop up tents. The Park is open year round and the facilities include ample picnic areas, walking trails, beach swimming and playgrounds. Restrooms and changing areas are located in the adjacent indoor pavilion. The NCNC will hold an on site banquet Saturday evening at the same pavilion. Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin

***** Important Working Dog Announcement ***** The NCA Board recently adopted the new, official AKC policy with regards to dog aggression for use at NCA working events, such as Water and Draft tests. That policy is as follows: "Any dog, that in the opinion of the Event Committee, attacks a person or a dog at an NCA working event, resulting in an injury, and is believed by that Event Committee to present a hazard to persons or other dogs, shall be disqualified. When the Event Committee pursuant to this section disqualifies the dog, a report shall be filed with the NCA Board. The disqualified dog may not again compete at any NCA working nor be on the grounds of an NCA working event unless and until, following application for reinstatement by the owner to the NCA Board, the owner receives official notification in writing from the NCA Board that the dog's eligibility has been reinstated." It is very important that each handler keep watch over his or her own dog(s) to avoid any possible confrontation that might result in a Test Committee hearing on the matter, etc. Exhibitor Responsibility Each exhibitor is responsible for providing his/her own water test equipment, including a U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation device and suitable foot protection to be worn in the water. Each exhibitor is responsible for the knowledge of the official NCA Regulations governing a Water Test and the applicable Standards of Performance. Regulations can be downloaded from the NCA website at http://www.newfdogclub.org. Requalifications as Multiple Division Entries Multiple Division requalifications will be allowed at NCA Water Tests. Dogs may be entered in more than one division on the same day but only if they have already qualified, at previous tests, in all of the divisions entered. Each entry must be sent on a separate entry form. If the entry for the test exceeds its limit and a lottery is necessary, the dog may not get into each division entered. There will be no substitutions for dogs to change divisions if their entry is chosen for one division but not the other in a lottery. Judges must excuse any dog not in condition to finish the division entered and, if so, the dog will not be able to continue in any other division entered that day. Entry fees will not be refunded for dogs that are excused. Entrants are discouraged from pushing their dogs beyond their limits. PLEASE NOTE: Bitches in Season will be tested after ALL other entrants have been tested on the day of the test. Please inform a test committee member as soon as possible if you will be bringing a bitch in season to the test. Bitches that have had an ovarian sparing spay are required to be tested as Bitches in Season. NOTE: ALL entrants MUST BE checked in by 7:30am!!
