news page The eggs hatch at night, after about eight weeks. 8 The tiny turtles must dig out of the sand. This is a dangerous time for the turtles. They must crawl quickly to the water. The moonlight on the water leads the turtles. page 4

recipe page NEED Tasty Turtle Snack green apple green seedless grapes gel Serves 4 apple corer knife 4 plates 1. Core and slice apple. 2. Put one slice on each plate. 3. Cut five grapes in half for each turtle. (ten pieces each) 4. Put seven pieces on top of each apple. Add one for head. 5. Cut the last grapes in half again. Put four pieces on each turtle for flippers. 6. Use gel to make two eyes on each turtle head. 7. Eat. page 15
