In addition, to remain eligible for the MVA Award, each entry must earn a qualifying score from at least one of the following performance programs: Agility (a Regular round) or Obedience. Program specifics will be mentioned in the rule book of each program. Scoring will be as explained below. Ties for awarding the Most Versatile Aussie Award and placements will be broken using the highest Stockdog score as calculated for MVA points. In the case that a tie still exists, the dog with the highest number of qualifying scores in all MVA qualifying events will prevail. If the tie is still not broken, dual placements shall be awarded. Computation of all scores for awarding the Most Versatile Aussie Award will be handled by either the Most Versatile Aussie show committee, and / or by one identified member of the show committee. The Host Club will provide a location where all scores will be posted as soon as practicable after each eligible competition is completed. It is the owner / handler's responsibility to check the scores as posted, and report to the MVA chairperson any discrepancy no later than four hours prior to the time scheduled for awarding MVA. Awards for MVA are final once presented. MVA-Award ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, after the herding trial at the JJ Ranch! There is catering on site at the HSV Zuiderzeeland. Directions to the JJ Ranch: Schoterlandseweg 42 - Hoornsterzwaag From Arnhem (A12) take A50 to Zwolle. Then A28 towards Groningen / Meppel. Then A32 towards Meppel / Leeuwarden. Exit Wolvega N351 towards Oosterwolde. First roundabout take left (N353) to Oldeberkoop. Next roundabout take a right towards Gorredijk. (N380). At the curve keep going straight towards Jubbega. After 5 km you come to Hoornsterzwaag. The JJ Ranch is at nr. 42 on your right. Directions to the HSV Zuiderzeeland: Turn into Zwanenburgreed at Schoterlandseweg 139 in Jubbega. This is an unpaved road. After 800 meters you can park at Zwanenburgreed nr. 5 (on your left hand side). Parking costs 1 euro, which will give you a ticket for 1 drink at the canteen of HSV Zuiderzeeland. GENERAL ENTRY INFORMATION No entry postmarked before April 1 st, 2014 will be accepted. Pre-entries must be postmarked no later than May 15 th 2014. Day of show entry fees will be applied to entries received after May15 th 2014. Entries are valid only if both payment(s) and form(s) are in! Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of ASCA rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. No entry shall be accepted from a dog or handler disqualified from ALL ASCA programs. Anyone who is not currently in good standing with ASCA will not be allowed entry into the trial. DWAS will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor the chairman will be responsible or obligated to furnish any services for notifying exhibitors or their agents of class judging. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. Entry fees will only be refunded if the refund request is received before the pre-entryclosing date, no entry fee will be refunded if the show cannot be opened or completed by reasons of riots, civil disturbances, fire, Acts of God, or public emergency. The showgiving club, the Show Chairman, their agents, officers, and/or committee shall assume no responsibility for injury to children. Judges may be substituted.
