TEAM OBEDIENCE IN COSTUME DEMONSTRATION The Team Obedience in Costume Demonstration shall be for teams of any four pure-bred Newfoundlands, who are at least six months of age on the day of the show. Five dogs may be entered, one considered an alternate. However, the same four dogs must perform all exercises. Dogs need not be owner-handled, need not be entered in another class, and need not have obedience titles. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION NON-REGULAR, INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES STUD DOG CLASS *: For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in any Regular Class, or if a Champion of Record in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog is considered one entry and requires one entry fee. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get. BROOD BITCH CLASS *: Same as for Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. * Note... Because the judge's decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merit of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class. BRACE CLASS: Two, identical ownership, requires a fee of $23.00 as a unit. the dogs comprising a Brace must be named at the time of entry. If a dog which is to be a part of a Brace is NOT entered in another class, it must be entered for "Brace Class Only" and the fee is $23.00/dog so entered. In making entries for "Brace Class Only" full particulars must be given for each dog on individual entry forms. An entry for a dog entered in another class and entered as a part of a Brace must be marked accordingly in the space provided for Additional Classes - "Brace." If more than one Brace is entered by the same owner the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, "Brace No. 1, Brace No. 2, etc." PARADE OF CHAMPIONS AND TITLEHOLDERS: The Parade of titleholders is non-competitive. Any AKC Champion of Record, AKC Obedience Title Holder and any NCA Titleholder is eligible. Each entrant will receive an Oak Newfy Ornament... specify call name and color of dog on entry form. SHOW SITE The SHOW SITE will not be available to exhibitors on Thursday. The SHOW SITE will be available to exhibitors on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 9:00 AM. GROOMING in designated area only. Exhibitors must conserve space and compact areas. NO EXPENS. Public expens will be provided. NO VEHICLES are allowed in the building. ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE CARPETED AREAS IN THE CIVIC CENTER! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!! City ordinance prohibits any food or drink to be brought into the Civic Center. A BOX LUNCH is available for Friday noon. It will be served ringside and the cost is $7.00. See the reservation form. UNLOADING AT THE NORTH DOOR ONLY ON FRIDAY. Dogs may arrive any time prior to judging of their class. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
