At the end of said forty five (45) day observation period the animal shall be examined by a veterinarian employed by the owner, and a written report of the results of such examination shall be documented on a Rabies Exam Form and submitted by the owner or veterinarian to the Department as soon as possible, but in no case longer than seventy-two (72) hours after the end of said forty five (45) day observation period. 14-9 Revised and adopted May 3, 2017

2. If the report reveals no symptoms of rabies the animal may then be released.
