2011 was the first season we competed with the Tom Wills birds, and we had a great season, finishing 2 nd SCPF averages and 7 th NRC averages(70+ flyers).the star of the season was SCPF 09 0082.(bred 2010 with an old ring.) a Blue Chequer Hen who was our clock bird 6 times! This year we ve again had a fantastic season with 0082 being our clock bird a further 4 times! What a pigeon! This year we had another star in QPF 11 10530 a blue bar cock, who topped the club from Rockhampton (approx. 450km) by 21min, and the North Road Combine(83 flyers) by just under 8min! Incidentally this young cocks grandmother won the Central Cumberland Federation (400+ flyers) by 7min for Tom Wills! These birds not only win themselves but also pass on these winning genes to their offspring. We are truly grateful to Tom for his kindness, friendship, and supreme generosity with his birds.
