General Information Dogs of these breeds recorded with the Purebred Alternative Listing Program/Indefinite Listing Privilege (PAL/ILP) or dogs with Conditional registration are eligible to participate. Spayed and neutered dogs are eligible to participate. Monorchid and cryptorchid dogs are ineligible to participate. Bitches in season are not eligible to participate. Hounds with breed disqualifications, as listed in the AKC Breed Standards, are ineligible to enter lure coursing trials and tests. Dogs with Limited Registration are eligible to participate. All entries must be at least one year of age the day of Trial Stakes will be split if 20 or more entries are present in any one stake at the time of the draw. Hounds not present at time of Roll Call will be scratched and entry fees will NOT be refunded. Battery-powered, continuous loop lure machines will be used with back-up equipment available. The lure will consist of light and/or light colored plastic Muzzles are not required: It is the responsibility of the owners to determine if the hound should be muzzled IMPORTANT Facility Information This trial will be held at Chattahoochee Hills Eventing. CHE is an 8,000-acre equestrian eventing estate that run 12 miles along the Chattahoochee River. Convenient to the Atlanta Airport and downtown Atlanta. PLEASE NOTE: Horses and Riders have the Right of Way!! Drive SLOWLY. Once you have turned onto the farm you will then be directed to a narrow 1 lane gravel/dirt road. Please park in designated areas only, Attention drivers of RVs: The road to the field is narrow and has overhanging branches. Large RV s will NOT fit!. Please call the Field Trial Chairman 865-591-6469 to inquire about parking area/directions. If you need to park away from the field a shuttle will be provided for you and your dogs. NO HOOK-UPS Please bring your own shade and water. There will be portable toilets available DO NOT put poop bags in the toilet!!! AKC TEST The JUNIOR COURSER TEST is open to all hounds of an eligible breed. A hound running alone shall receive a certification from a judge on one date and a second certification from a different judge at a later date, stating that the hound completed at least a 600 yard course with a minimum of four turns. The hound must complete the course with enthusiasm and without interruption. ***It is recommended that Junior Courser hounds entering the open stake for the first time have successful practice experience with other hounds before competing*** Stakes Offered AKC TRIAL STAKES OPEN: Open to all hounds of an eligible breed that have attained at least one of the following: AKC Junior Courser Title, ASFA Field Champion Title, CKC Field Champion Title, and AKC Field Champion Title.
