CRC JUDGE S AWARD At the Judge s discretion, CRC Judge s Awards will be awarded to a maximum of 10% of the Best of Breed Entry, including Winners Dog and Winners Bitch and Veteran Dog and Veteran Bitch, with no limitations as to the sex. The 10% is in addition to the two CRC Judge s Awards automatically awarded to the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex Winners. Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries Veteran Dogs, 7 yrs. & older Veteran Bitches, 7 yrs. & older Note: Neutered dogs and spayed bitches will be allowed to compete in the Veteran Class. Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered as one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another Class. must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get.** Brood Bitch Class - Same as above except substitute Brood Bitch For Stud Dog and Produce for Get.** Brace Class - Two dogs presented by a maximum of two handlers. Both dogs competing in brace competition must have at least one common owner. Dogs may be entered for Brace competition ONLY. The dogs comprising a Brace must be named at time of entry. If a dog which is to be part of a Brace is not entered in another class, it must be entered for Brace Class only. * **As the judges decision in the Stud Dog, Brood Bitch and Brace Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in these classes will be eligible for Best of Breed Competition by virtue of having won any of these classes. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION NOVICE CLASS: For Boys and Girls 9 years and under 18 years old on the day of the show who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS FOR BOTH EVENTS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. The AKC will collect a $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee and 50 cent Recording Fee for the first entry of a dog in all AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Event/Recording Fees to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule. Ch.11, Sec. 2). In accordance with AKC Rally regulations, the AKC will collect a $3.00 per entry of dog Rally Event Service Fee. A show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Recording Fees and Event Service Fees for AKC. CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTERNA- TIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or its Show Secretary, or BaRay Events assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH THE ENTRANT. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for bitches in season. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. BaRay Events will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS. REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify BaRay Events at (360) 683-1507 or email dogshows@barayevents.com. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS Welcome to the 2006 ARC National Specialty, hosted by The Colonial Rottweiler Club. The show site will be available to Exhibitors at 7am, Wednesday May 10, 2006. Entrance to the Host Exhibition Hall will be open from 7:00 am daily. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best of Breed judging Sunday May 14, 2006. There will be plenty of space for spectators and holding area for dogs waiting to go into the ring. No grooming, NO CRATING and no un-entered dogs allowed in the Exhibitor Hall. Exhibitors are responsible for keeping their dogs under control at all times & MUST clean up after their dogs in any area of the Lancaster Host Resort. Remember that dogs need to be on leash at all times. There will be a designated area for bathing of dogs posted. Please remember that any complaints by Host officials may result in an Event Committee Hearing. All trophies must be claimed at each event. None will be mailed. Cash Prizes will be paid in the Ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for such Prize Money MUST be made in the ring before judging of that class is over. The show-giving Club disclaims any liability for any Cash Prizes after judging of the class is over. All first-place and major award winners are REQUIRED to have a photograph taken by the official show photographers. Become a part of breed history and have the vital statistics of your Rottweiler documented. This survey is designed to be a learning tool for the present and the future. The certificate presented to the participants will include all pertinent information on the dog, as well as the measurements taken of the dog and a critique. The dog is also required to partake in a short heeling exercise on leash to demonstrate that the dog is under control. Measurement Survey cost is $40. Reservation Deadline is May 1, 2006. The Measurement Seminar is for individuals qualified to become an evaluator. There are certain criteria that need to be met. Measurement Seminar cost is $35.
