About the CCCofA The CCCofA is a national body that was established in the late 1970s to address a need for unification among several of the largest cat control bodies in Australia. The CCCofA Inc. now has affiliates in all states that support the national uniformity of policies for the conduct of shows, training and appointment of judges, registration of cats, definition of classes, and the awarding of championships. This standardisation allows exhibitors and breeders to show cats around Australia. Venue The 2009 CCCofA National Cat Show will be held at the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. The centre is situated in the Perth Foothills on Hale Road in Forrestfield. It is conveniently located just fifteen minutes from the domestic airport and twenty five minutes from the centre of Perth. Neither usually allow pets in the room, however we have managed to convince them that cat show people are responsible and will respect this concession. Both the Angelo Lodge and Glenvale Lodge have 1, 2 and 3 (Glenvale only) bedroom self contained apartments. There is a large bathroom in the apartment with a door that provides ideal facilities to keep your cats. Angelo Lodge also has a small laundry area. It has been agreed that cats will NOT be allowed to roam freely in the rooms but will be contained in the bathroom area. The apartments are in the River precinct of Rivervale, 10 mins from the airport and the Burswood Casino. The Show venue is 15 mins away directly down the Tonkin Hwy. Transport We have arranged a great way for exhibitors to get themselves and their cats to and from the show. There will be a mini bus available to transport exhibitors to and from the show venue. Exhibitors cats will then be transported by Jet Pets in a special pet transport air conditioned van each morning and afternoon of the Show. The mini bus will also take exhibitors to and from the show dinner. There will be a $50.00 fee per exhibitor for the two days for this service. Each apartment has a car bay for hire cars. Bookings A $100 bond plus one nights accommodation fee will secure your booking. The $100 bond is non refundable if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the Show. A further $100 bond is required when you book in. The bond will be refunded once the room is inspected prior to the apartment being vacated.
