Hayes As a bookseller, I feel that I need to address some of the many negative one-star reviews of the content of this book, only one of which appears to have been written by someone who has actually read it. The remainder all use the same terminology and make the same accusations, comparing the content to child pornography and refusing to purchase from Amazon again as long as they carry the title. Interestingly, none of these reviews have the 'purchased from Amazon' tag. This appears to be a hate campaign by an individual(s) who have not read this book and erroneously believe it to be a treatise on dog fighting (which I agree is abhorrent) but is an incorrect conclusion. This is the second volume of a pair of best-sellers originally published in Germany as KAMPFHUNDE 1 and KAMPFHUNDE 2. Reprinted in English, the first volume is entitled The HISTORY OF FIGHTING DOGS and this, the second volume, continues with chapters and detail on the breeds originally bred to be fighting dogs. This is a history of breeds, not a how-to on dog fighting. If this book should be banned due to its content, then so too should books on the Holocaust, Slavery, and all of the other heinous actions ever committed by the human race.
