It is Snyatynska Nova Poultry Farm, located in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, in Western Ukraine. International experience was used and involved extensively in the production startup, in particular that of the leading manufacturers of this product, France and Hungary. Currently, Snyatynska Nova Poultry Farm is a powerful closed cycle enterprise, where production starts with parent stock and ends with ready-made products. Nova Poultry Farm facilities include A hatchery with a one-time setting capacity of 100,000 eggs (5 thousand once a week) A site for rearing flocks 5,000 birds a year 3 sites for parent stock 15,000 birds (simultaneous keeping; 1 site 5 thousand birds) 4 sites for final stock rearing 125,000 (total) birds 1 fatty liver feeding site 20,000 birds (a cycle is 13 days) A slaughterhouse with a capacity of 3,000/16 hours Own vehicle fleet This MHP enterprise is one of the major goose liver producers in Europe, on a level with France, Hungary and Bulgaria. Due to this, Ukraine is one of the four European countries that produce foie gras industrially. Snyatynska Nova Poultry Farm was founded in 2002. After complete modernization and reorganization, the enterprise joined MHP in 2006. Automation, mechanization and industrial process management systems have been implemented at the poultry farm at almost every production stage. Special equipment recommended by Hungarian and French experts has been installed, a French technique for fatty goose liver production has been implemented. In 2008, the procedure of the enterprise s products preparation for export to the European Union countries started. In 2010, SGS, an international company, assessed and certified Snyatynska Nova Poultry Farm: in the production process, the enterprise follows strict quality controls that meet international ISO 9001:2008 (quality management system) and FSSC 22000 (food safety management system) standards. In July 2013, Snyatynska Nova Poultry Farm obtained a European number and now has the right to export its products to European Union countries.
