Valeria Rickard (USA) Valeria's passion for dogs began during her youth in Europe where she started off in junior handling. There, she bred her first litter of Airedales - sired by her own champion male. After moving to the U.S., and completing her education and graduated with honors in 2001 from Virginia Tech, earning her DVM degree. Even during that final year of college, soon to be doctor Rickard had already rekindled the flame by acquiring her new foundation bitch Airedale and restarting her breeding program. She also was involved with breeding Welsh terriers, finishing several champions, before focusing on breeding Airedales. Dr. Rickard's near life-long interest in purebred dogs and her extensive medical knowledge has motivated her to become an AKC conformation judge. To her credit, Dr. Rickard's accomplishments, her impartiality and known eye for quality has already led her to have been contacted by Airedale clubs from around the world to judge at their breed specialties. Dr. Rickard has been published in two veterinary textbooks and often donates her time by conducting seminars and presentations on canine reproduction, pediatrics, and related topics. She is frequently published in magazines such as Terrier Type and other newsletters. Astrid Lundava (ES) I started my life as a breeder with german shepherd dogs in 1980 s, but currently I own and breed welsh corgies both pembrokes and cardigans. I have owned also Lakeland and fox terriers. I imported first welsh corgi Pembroke to Estonia in year 1993. From that time active welsh corgi Pembroke breeder many champions in different countries (incl. C.I.B), some W. Vet W., Eu Vet W. also in the hall of fame list. I am FCI judge since 1989 and now I am all rounder judge. Speciality Shows judged for: German shepherds, white swiss shepherds, welsh corgies, collies, terrier specialities and different others breed specialities in Russia. Countries judged in: Belarus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Ukraine. Catrinel Pauna (RO) My first Deutsch Kurzhaar came into our family in 1995, when I was 15 years old. In 1996 I started showing him and this is how everything began. Afterwards I imported several German bloodline Deutsch Kurzhaars and started breeding since 2004. Together with my partner I am breeding Deutsch Kurzhaars under Karpaten Irbis and Donau-Wirbeln affixes. Dogs bred by us are successfully shown around the world and we have produced Champions of many countries: Australia, USA, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Cyprus, Russia, Moldova, Azerbaijan,

Philippines and also Asia Pacific, Asia & International Champions. Besides that, our offspring are hunting around the world and passed many hunting exams typical for the Deutsch Kurzhaar, including the famous Dr. Kleemann-Zuchtausleseprüfung. I became a judge in 2008 and I judged in international and national shows and also in the most important events of the breed I own Internationale Kurzhaar Prüfung (IKP) and Dr. Kleemann-Zuchtausleseprüfung, organized by the German breed club. Malgorzata Wieremiejczyk-Wierzchowska (PL) Born in Cracow 13.10.1955. Professional background - Textile Engineer. I have been raised in a home always full with dogs. My first basset hound I was given as a gift from my mom in 1979. I have been a member of Polish Kennel Club for over 30 years, now, as an owner and breeder of many Basset Hounds champions in Europe and America. For the last 20 years I have been in the position of the President of Cracow Kennel Club, was also a member of the Managing Board of Polish Kennel Club headquarters in Warsaw. Judge FCI since 2000, International Judge Group I, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, X (Group VI Specialist), Junior Handling. I am also a approved AKC Judge. I am judge specialist of all Polish breeds - Polish Lowland Sheepdog, Tatra Shepherd Dog, Polish Greyhound, Polish Hunting Dog, Polish Hound. Since 17 years I promote and support Polish breeds especially during International Dog Show in Cracow. Language : Polish, English, Russian Anca Giura (RO) Arbitru de rezerva / Reserve judge I am an artist and visual art teacher in a high school of art. The most of my paintings and drawings are representing dog sand horses. I use to breed dachshunds, but now, unfortunately, I have no more enough time and space, but I will always have at list one. Cannot concieve life without! Member of the Roumanian Kennel Club since 1976, I start judging in 1983. For many years I judged only the groups 4,6,7,8 and 10. Then, little by little, the others groups too. 30 years after, I thought that maybe the time has come to thake the big responsabilitty of an allrounder judge. So, since 2011 I am allrounder. I have judged in a lot of countries: Finland, France, Italy, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Letonia, Holland, Denmark, Lithuania,

Russia, Malta, Greece, Ciprus, Japan,Turkey, Chech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Ireland, Switzerland, Philippines, Germany, Austria, Australia, South Africa, etc. I love all dogs and I wish they all coud have great owners and receive the proper respect we own them. Concerning the judging, for me it is a kind of art, because you have to work with the proportions, the beauty, the brain and the heart, without forgetting the balance between them, beeing able to search and see the beauty as close to the perfection. All this years I had the pleasure and the honour to judge some important events as European, Asian section shows and World Dog Shows and I consider myself the proud inventor of the most well-known Romanian Dog Show Dracula Golden Trophy. One of my ambitions was to be able to judge in all F.C.I. official languages to which I can add the Italian, Hungarian and Russian.
