Bodegård, Göran - Sweden (All Breed) Born in 1940 Mr. Bodegård has been in dogs all of his life. He got his first Scottish Deerhound when he was 12. Since the 60s he has bred 9 generation of Greyhounds. He bred the leading bitches and stud dogs for the Scandinavian Greyhound which was spread to the United States. He also exported dogs to England. He imported Deerhounds and Afghans and has also had personal experience in Rottweilers and French Bulldogs. Basically a hound person he has a very wide general interest nowadays when it comes to judging and most breeds are interested in his opinion. Mr. Bodegård is an all breed judge and has judged in most European countries including many times in England. He has judged Crufts and the Royals in Australia. He has judged many times in New Zealand, Thailand, Israel and repeatedly in the United States including many breed specialties in Europe, Asia and Australia. Terry Gains Victoria, B.C. I have bred, under the Gainspride prefex and exhibited Labrador retrievers for over 25 years. I compete in Obedience and Conformation. I started judging in the late 80 s for club trials, and became a CKC judge in 1990.I m a life member of Greater Victoria Dog Obedience Club and a founding member of Island and Pacific Labrador Club. I am on permit for the first half of the Sporting Group and will do my first permit in August. The high-light of my judging career has been at Red Deer Alberta. I was judging a Golden Retriever that obtained a 200 score in the Utility Class. I would like to thank all the competitors that compete in my ring. I hope you will relax and enjoy yourself as much as I do judging. Page 1/8

HEDGEPATH, STEPHANIE SEABROOK U.S.A. My involvement with the world of showing dogs began in 1968 with the purchase of my first "show dog," a German Shepherd. Over the years, I have owned and shown Brittanys, Pointers, Golden Retrievers, Shetland Sheepdogs and Pomeranians in addition to German Shepherds and both Corgis. In the early 70's, I began breeding Pembrokes on a limited basis and showing them throughout the Southeastern United States. On average, I have finished one to two championships under the Jimanie banner per year for the last 30 years, with almost all of them breeder/owner handled to their titles. I have also completed championships on dogs in other breeds as well (most notably Pointers and Cardigans). An active member of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, Inc. since 1986, I have served as chair of the Illustrated Standard Revision Committee, on the Judge's Education Committee and on the Rescue Committee. Currently, I serve the club as Webmaster of the PWCCA website via the Electronic Media committee, as co-chair of the 2004 PWCCA National Specialty' and as a member of the PWCCA Board of Directors. I was a founding member of the Palmetto Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club, Inc. and currently serve on the Board of Directors. I also maintain memberships in the Columbia Kennel Club, Inc., the Greater Columbia Obedience Club, Inc. (lifetime member) and the American Dog Show Judges Association, Inc. In 1988 the AKC gave their approval for me to judge German Shepherds, Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis and Junior Showmanship; in 1995, the balance of the Herding Group and Best in Show and most recently I've been approved for thirteen more of the of the Sporting breeds which brings my total in that group to 20. I have been fortunate enough to judge dogs allover the US and in Canada, Finland, Norway, Jamaica, New Zealand and Australia. Although I was trained and worked for many years as a Respiratory Therapist, I make my living as an artist, mostly through the design and wholesale distribution of counted cross-stitch and needlepoint via Pegasus Originals, Inc., which I "co-own" with my husband of over 30 years, Jim Hedgepath. Over the past several years I have become more involved in graphic design for the Internet and have been exploring the world of digital art. I am the mother of two adult children, Patrick Hedgepath and Leah H. Walters, and the grandmother of three with one more due in May, 2004. Page 2/8

Hübenthal, Wera and Rodi Norway (now living in Sweden) When they met in school in 1961; Wera had a Whippet puppy and Rodi had a Norwegian Buhund. That was the start of a very active dog-life : showing obedience and breeding Doberman, German Pinscher, Miniature Pinscher, Giant Schnauzer, Briard and Whippet. During their time as breeders they had many imported dogs from England (Doberman and Briard), Germany (Doberman and German Pinscher), America (Briard) and Israel (Miniature Pinscher). They have about 140 dogs of their breeding earning Championships with the prefix Picador around the world. They have been active in different clubs; among them Rodi was the founder and chairman of The Norwegian German Pinscher Club and The Norwegian Braird Club. He has also been chairman of the Nowegian Dog Judges Association, and a board member in some other breed clubs. At the moment they have gone out of all committees due to their moving to Sweden. Rodi received his first authorization as a judge in 1969; Doberman and Rottweiler then all sighthounds (FCI Group 10) and since then he has taken education for more and more breeds until he became an FCI all breed judge in 1992. Wera was working as a Steward nearly 20 years before she was authorized for some breeds in the FCI Group 5: Alaskan Malamute, Greenland Dog, Siberian Husky and Samoyed in 1984 and from that year she has continued her education until September 1998 when she too was authorized by The Norwegian Kennel Club as an all breed judge. Now, the couple are judging about 30 weekends every year; in all parts of the world most recently shows in Eastern and Western Europe, Israel, the United States including Hawaii, South America, Barbados, Australian (including the Royal Shows), South Africa, Japan, India, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. The last years Rodi has also been judging a large number of interesting shows such as Colare de Oro in Italy, Champion of Champions in Switzerland, Portugal and Russia, the finals for junior handling at Crufts, The World-shows in Copenhagen, Bern, Vienna, Helsinki, Milan, and the European Winner Show in Copenhagen. Also group judging in most of these shows. Wera has been judging the Champion of Champions in South Africa and Norway. The couple is excited about coming to Calgary, since they have never been to that part of Canada before. Page 3/8

Juslin, Mr. Johan J. - Finland I got my first dog, a Red Irish Setter, in the year 1965. This dog was more a pet one. The following one was a Norwich Terrier in 1972. I began to take part in club activities and shows from the beginning. My first bitch became a Finnish Champion 1974. My first litter of Norwich Terriers was born in 1976 and since then I have only bred 17 litters under Rivale prefix. I have owned or bred 6 International (FCI) Champions and number of Finnish Champions. I also imported from England the first GB Champion to Finland, GB & Int Ch Elve Sir Tarquin, who also was a wonderful stud dog in England before he left for Finland in 1994. I have exported Norwich terriers to Sweden, Denmark and Greece. One of our most successful dogs has been Int & Fin Ch Cobby s Blue River Stone, who was the Top Norwich Terrier of the year twice and also won Best in Show at an All Breed Championship in 1989. Our own dog Int & Fin Ch WW-98 Rivale Pianoforte, sired by Elve Sir Tarquin, was Best of Breed at the World Show in Helsinki 1998. His father showed the best progeny group at the same show. During the years our successes include winning European Winner and Junior titles with our breeding. Other breeds has been the Italian Truffel Dog (Lagotto Romagnolo) and Miniature Schnauzers. Showing and breeding todays is very limited because of many judging appointments around the world. I became a judge in 1985 and I was first qualified for the shortlegged terriers. In the year 2003 I was qualified to judge all breeds except our 3 native breeds, Finnish Spitz, Karelian Bear Dog and Norrbotten Spitz. (In the FCI countries this means: qualified to award CCs in all about 350 recognized breeds by the FCI). I am working on my studies for these breeds as we have to take classes by the Finnish Spitz Breed Club. Hopefully I will qualify for these three missing breeds in the mid of July 2004. I am also a hunting trial judge for our Finnish breeds. I have judged in following countries during the years: Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and Sweden. I have been a board member of the Finnish Terrier Club, The Finnish Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club. For the moment I am a board member of the Finnish Judges Society. I am a past president for the above mentioned Norwich & Norfolk Terriers Club and The Finnish Peke Club. I have also been the Show Secretary for years for one All Breed Championship. I also educate and examine judges for Norfolk and Norwich Terriers. I have been decorated by the Finnish Kennel Club and the Breeders Association (silver medal). Page 4/8

Pam Weaver Estacada, OR U.S.A. My involvement with dog shows and breeding began when I was in grade school. It has always been a family affair. We started showing in conformation, and I added obedience with my 61/2 year old, very overweight Pug whose children we were then showing. The kid and the fat Pug did what people said we couldn t do. Cuddles became the first Pug bitch with a UD and only missed being the first UD by weeks. Limited breeding produced multiple BIS, multiple Group, High in Trial, Dog World Award winners and Champions with obedience degrees, including my pride and joy Ch. Weavers Wrinkled Valentine, UD - an owner bred, trained and handled Group and Dog World Award winner. I was approved to judge obedience the same year I graduated from college and later added Pugs and Juniors. Golden Retrievers became part of the family over 25 years ago when my son wanted a large hairy dog. After many years of non activity in the trackiing field, I returned to tracking, obtained a TD & and am continuing training with a Golden & Pug. My older Golden specializes in keeping me humble in the obedience ring. Page 8/8
