Chop Plate Tony Weller D.6327; 34 cm (13.5 ) diameter Chop dishes are thought of as a child of the 1950 s, but they seem to have gone into production in the late 1930's or very early 1940's and they do not have hanging holes in the rim. Doulton also manufactured a Wall Plaque or Charger, these come in 2 sizes 34.5 cm (13.5") and 39.5 cm (15.5"). Chargers differ from chop dishes that are of slightly lighter construction and that they have 3 holes in the rim for threading a wire for hanging.
