Fax entries that are received incomplete or unable to be read will not be accepted. The proof of transmission is not proof for verifying faxed entries. Telephone and emailed entries are not accepted. Canadian exhibitors must submit entries with checks drawn on U.S. accounts or with international money orders in U.S. funds. Returned checks and invalid or declined credit cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. Returned checks and invalid or declined credit cards must be made good before the dog(s) will be allowed in the ring. Any person that issues a check that is returned for non-payment, or submits payment by credit card that is declined, will be required to pay a fine of $25 in addition to the entry fees for which check or checks were issued or for charges to the declined credit card. The entry fee plus the $25 shall then be paid by cash, money order, or cashier's check. Returned checks or declined credit cards from exhibitors may result in their being put on a cash-only basis. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete or entries received without correct fee amounts will not be accepted. Owners are responsible for errors on entry blanks including wrong information, entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete or for entering the same dog twice. Amateur Owner Handler Dogs Amateur Owner Handler Bitches (Effective as of 1/1/2009) Chapter 3, Section 7 of the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows The Amateur -Owner-Handler class shall be for dogs that are at least six months of age that are not champions. Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered owner of the dog. This class is restricted to exhibitors who have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformation judge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler. Additionally, members of the immediate family or household of a current professional handler are ineligible for this class (as defined in Chapter 11, Section 13). Bred By Exhibitor Dogs Bred By Exhibitor Bitches All dogs entered in the Bred-By Exhibitor Class must be individually registered with the AKC. The person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog. To exhibit in this class, family members must be a breeder and owner of record. Open to Champions and Non-Champions alike. A dog may be entered in the Veterans Class without being entered in any other class. Dogs & Bitches will be judged separately. *Chapter 11, Section 8 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows provides that a neutered male may be entered as a Veteran Dog in the Veteran Dog Class and a spayed bitch may be entered as a Veteran Bitch in the Veteran Bitch Class. NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE DOG ENTRIES - ALL SHOWS NOTE: As the judges' decision in these classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won any of these classes. *STUD DOG CLASS - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not necessarily be owner of Get. Get only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for its breed. Get must be entered in a Regular Class. No additional fee for the Get. *BROOD BITCH CLASS - Same as for the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. *Chapter 11, Section 8 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows provides that a castrated male may be entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed bitch may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class. The following classifications are not offered: Novice Dogs & Novice Bitches Awards of Merit for Both Shows The Mother Lode Bulldog Club of Sacramento will offer one Award of Merit for every 10 Champions of Record Bulldogs competing in the Best of Breed competition. Dogs awarded Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed and Best of Winners are excluded from selection by virtue of their higher placement. Selection of recipients will be determined by the Conformation Judge. Award of Merit... Blue, Gold & White Rosette

JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION MOTHER LODE BULLDOG CLUB - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8, 2016 AKC Event #2015285901 (Entry in a Regular Class is Required) CLASSES: Note Classes will Not be Divided by Age Novice Class - This shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who at the time entries close have not won three (3) first place awards, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. Open Class - This class shall be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show, and who have won three first place awards in a Novice Class in a licensed or member show, with competition present in the Novice class. Juniors which according to their records have completed the requirements to compete in the Open class but whose status is unconfirmed by the American Kennel Club are limited to competing in the Open Class for a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the Junior completed the requirements according to their records. Master Class - This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will be consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year. Junior Handlers must include their AKC Junior Handler identification number on the entry blank. Notice: Be sure all information for Junior Showmanship Classes is entered on front and back of the entry form. By signing the entry form certification is given that the Junior Showman does not now, and will not at any time, act as an agent/handler for pay while continuing to compete in Junior Showmanship. Brown Ribbon Third Place...Light Green Ribbon Fourth Place...Gray Ribbon Best Junior Handler...Rosette NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS REGARDING CORRECTIONS OR CHANGES TO ENTRIES: Corrections other than the specific changes listed in Ch. 11, Sec. 6 (i.e. sex of a dog, transfers between age specific classes, and move-ups to BOB or BOV) are the only changes to the entries superintendents or secretaries are authorized to make after closing of entries. THIS RULE IS BEING STRICTLY ENFORCED BY THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ENTRIES CAREFULLY. Corrections to entries may be made by the Superintendent prior to the closing of entries if such correction is submitted in writing. Exhibitors are required to report any changes/corrections after closing directly to the American Kennel Club. 6

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. A recording fee of.50 cents and a Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial or tracking test. This recording fee is to be collected by the showgiving club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the recording fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule, Chapter 14, Sec. 2). Trophies must be claimed the day of the show or be forfeited. No entry shall be made and no entry accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Owners are responsible for errors on entry blanks. The Club and/or its Show Secretary assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or owner's Agent entering a dog or a class for which the dog is not eligible to compete. Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of Show Committee or because it has been entered incorrectly. No dogs will be allowed in the show area except those regularly entered in the show. Dogs must be ready for Judging: The club and its show secretary will not be responsible and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of breed or class judging. The Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. This club will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. The club will not be responsible for injury to any person attending this show. A dog which, according to its owners' records, has completed the requirements for a Championship after the closing of entries for the show, but whose Championship is unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation Judging at the show. ADDITIONAL RULES Exhibitors must not wear pins or badges identifying them with any club or organization. Crates and grooming tables will not be allowed within 10 feet of the rings. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All dogs present must be held on a leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercise ring. Class cash prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of the breed is over and the Show Secretary advised at once. The Show Secretary and show-giving club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of breed is over. 7
