President's Bark March 2015 hope everyone is having a great Spring; we sure have had some great weather. know the dogs seem to enjoy the nice weather. This is the kind of weather that makes you think about the upcoming dog show season. know that not all of our members will actively participate in these upcoming shows in Eastern Washington, and that is what makes our Club so effective. The member who once had a dog, to the member that shows aggressively, we all are a major part of this club. No one individual is more important than any other and everyone provides a positive impact to the club. want to remind everyone that our handling class will move from the 4 Paws facility after the first of April to behind the Richland Community Center at Howard Amon Park. During this transition, there will not be a handling class on April 1st, with the first outside class starting on April B". want to again thank.' everyone who helped run the class (Chris Larson, Kim & Bruce Glenn, Alyssa Paxton, and linda Riedel to name a few). t will be nice to work on grass again with all the upcoming outside shows on the schedule. Also, Bonnie and will be going to Canada the first weekend in April and will not be available for the general meeting on April 2nd. As a result, the general meeting will be canceled. Our next general meeting will be held as normal on May rnat the Community Center. look forward to seeing you all there and hopefully many of our members will have brags. Our inner club fun match will be held on June 13 th at the park down past Winco in Richland. We always have a lot of fun at this event and to get our young dogs a chance to practice. t is also fun for the round robin judges to get on the other side of the dog during exhibition. t is a great learning opportunity for all of us as well as our dogs. Fortunately, no one in our membership has suffered a recent loss and most of us are in pretty good health. Helen Criswell is making progress and her future health is always in our thoughts. look forward to this positive trend continuing! n closing, would like the membership to know the fall show is progressing along with many of the functions being handled effectively. believe this will be a great show and one where everyone plays an active role in making the show successful. t is because of all of you that makes my function so enjoyable. Richland Kennel Club- Minutes for Membership Meeting March 4,2015 CALL TO ORDER: Club President Chuck Ames called the Richland Kennel Club Membership Meeting to order at 7:30 pm, at Richland Community Center in Richland, WA. Minutes of the January 2014 RKC Membership meeting were approved by Kevin Davis & seconded by Alyssa Paxton. TREASURER'S REPORT: Treasures report was given by Michelle Murray. OLD BUSNESS: The hydraulic Jack for club trailer is still needing installed Tents for the Show are still pending on whether they get fixed or the club purchases new ones COMMTTEE REPORTS: Show Committee- Possibly looking into getting some electrical additions and the caterer estimate is coming.
