I want you to know that the Nebraska Kennel Club NEEDS YOU!!. Now is the time for you to give us what you can of your talent and time. Oh, yes you do have talent to offer, and can find the time to give to YOUR dog Club. Sometimes, there is a call for a volunteer to do certain jobs in the Club just because you weren t asked personally surely does not mean you are not capable of fulfilling the needs of the Club. Please contact President Tim Bourke, or any Board Member, with your ideas, thoughts, and above all your abilities. YOU count tremendously not just your Membership (though certainly that is important) but as an active, working member. It may be a time-limited position such as serving NKC as a ring steward, or a longer-term position. And hey, we ll even teach you what you need to do. Believe me, there are many positions to be taken! We want YOUR ideas, too things we should do as a dog club ways to increase the treasury, and how to be most helpful to the Club in a comfortable way for you. I will be writing articles for the Growler each month; what do you want to know more about? What suggestions do you have for your Board or the Membership? How can we help you to help us? Please fee free to contact any Board Member, or me at adonnie@webtv.net 7
