SHOW RULES Testing Poultry assembled at shows or exhibitions should be accompanied by evidence of a negative test for Pullorum-Tyhpoid within 90 days, or be tested on-site prior to exhibition following strict biosecurity procedures, or originate directly from a flock which has been certified as Pullorum-Typhod Clean. Avian Influenza - All out-of-state poultry must originate directly from a Pullorum- Typhoid Clean Flock and a H5/H7 Avian Influenza Clean Flock, or be accompanied by evidence of a negative Pullorum-Typhoid test within ninety (90) days and a negative official Avian Influenza test with twenty-one (21) days. ALSO, please note that if highly pathogenic Avian Influenza is detected in Tennessee or a neighboring state, the commingling of poultry at fairs and exhibitions may be suspended. How to submit Entries: This year we are using an online entry and payment program, we encourage all entries to be entered online at: www.tnvpoultryclub.com Mail-in entries should be sent with payment to (entries received without payment will not be entered in the show): NO PHONE OR EMAIL ENTRIES DEADLINES WILL BE STRICYLY ENFORCED Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 20th Online Entries deadline - November 27th Absolutely NO SMOKING in the Exhibit Hall. Violators will be asked to leave. Smoking available outside building. All recognized and non-standard varieties of large fowl, bantams, pigeons and water fowl are accepted in the show. Open and Junior entry fee $4.00 per bird ($8.00 for double coop), plus a $5.00 clean up fee per exhibitor. All birds deemed sick or diseased by a TVPC officer or judge will be disqualified and removed from the show. TVPC nor any of its officers will be responsible for any loss, sickness, or injury to any bird during the show; however all precautions will be taken to protect all exhibits. All birds must be cooped in by 9:00am on December 2nd. Juniors will be responsible for their birds, parents are not allowed to clean or assist in any way. If junior needs help cooping birds in, a TVPC member will be glad to help them. If parents are assisting or cleaning birds the junior will be disqualified from the show. All exhibitors and parents will receive a pass for free admission at check in. There will be a $5.00/person fee charged for additional nonexhibitors or family member and must be ordered on entry form. $5.00 fee for all lost passes. All Judges decisions are final. All protests must be made in writing and accompanied by a $25.00 deposit made to TVPC. The Show Committee will make the final decision and in the event finds no justification for the protest, the fee will be forfeited. No person will be allowed in the aisle during judging, or allowed to talk to the judges during judging. No vendors or sale birds will be allowed outside the show building. All sales will be held inside in the designated area only. No cooping out before Champion of Show is chosen. No alcohol or drugs in the show room or on the fair grounds. Anyone caught stealing will be turned over to the police and banned for life from any show of the TVPC. Security will be on the fair grounds 24/7. Show will be open to the general public on Saturday, December 2nd from 9am-6pm. Admission is $5.00 per person. NO ANIMALS ALLOWED IN SHOW HALL EXCEPT SERVICE DOGS! THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
