Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Please type or print the information on entry forms clearly and review the entry form carefully before submitting. Illegible, unsigned or otherwise incomplete entries will be returned. Entries not on official AKC Entry Forms or entry forms without agreement and rules will be returned. BSCA will not refund duplicate entries or any other cause beyond the club s control after entries close. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to the close of entries. No entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries sent by USPS Priority, FedEx or other special delivery must be marked NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Failure to ensure delivery without requiring signature will result in your entry being returned. Payment: Make check or money order (USD only) payable to: BSCA 2015. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. A collection fee will be added to the amount of any returned check. transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check. Secretary assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Calculate fees carefully; no refunds will be made if excess fees are submitted, and entries sent with insufficient fees will not be accepted. Fees: $75/TD and $100/TDX (both incl. $3.50 AKC event fees). Certification: A non-td dog must have an original, valid certification of their ability to track from an AKC Tracking Judge to enter a Tracking Dog Test. A dog entering the Tracking Dog Excellent Test must have earned a TD title prior to the closing date of this test. Original certificate must accompany entry form. Eligibility, acceptance, and refunds: BSCA may decline entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other cause and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Club or any official thereof. Bitches in season are eligible to compete and will run in catalog order in trials and at the end of their classes in tests. Please notify the Event Secretary at least ½ hour before judging begins if your bitch is in season. In the event that this test does not reach the TD or TDX dog limit, the remaining space or spaces may be filled by a substitution done in the ratio of one TDX space equals two TD spaces. The draw for these spaces will be done from the remaining entries previous to the draw for the alternate list. Entry fees for alternates who don t participate in the test will be refunded within one week of the completion of the test. Entry fees for dogs which pass an AKC approved test after the closing date of this test will be refunded if they withdraw from this test, provided there is an alternate to replace the entry, and the Test Secretary is notified in writing (email ok) not less than 3 days before the test date. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Exhibitor Information: EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITIES Assumption of risk: BSCA, its officers and representatives, the Event Secretary, committee and site owner assume no responsibility for loss, damage or injuries sustained by spectators, exhibitors, exhibitors property, and their dogs and assume no responsibility for injury to children. Children must be under the direct supervision of a responsible adult. Adults whose children under their care are found unattended, disturbing livestock or dogs, or in restricted areas, may be asked to leave the site. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Each Owner and Agent listed on the entry form and/or individual responsible for the dog at a show is bound by the Certification and Agreement on the front and back of the entry form regardless of who may have completed & submitted the entry form. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
