Dogs cannot be left in the arena overnight as there is no security provided. No entry may be accepted, altered, cancelled or substituted after the official closing date subject to CKC rules. Incomplete entries will be returned. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the entry fee. The Elliot Lake and Area Kennel Club reserves the right to refuse any entry, subject to CKC rules. Changes and cancellations of any entry after closing are prohibited. The host Club and Trial Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. If because of riots, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or complete the trial, no refund of entry fees will be made. BITCHES IN SEASON Bitches in season are not permitted to compete. Entry fees will be refunded provided a veterinarian's certificate stating the bitch was season within the 10 day period preceding the trial reaches the secretary on or before the date of the trial. LISTED DOGS Listed dogs may not be entered in Open or Utility Classes. There is no limitation on the number of trials at which a dog may be entered as a LISTED DOG EXCEPT that a dog which has obtained 3 qualifying scores at obedience trials held under CKC rules may not continue to compete at licensed trials held under the club's rules until the dog is registered individually or has obtained an ERN number with the CKC or until its owner has provide evidence satisfactory to the CKC that it is eligible for registration in the club's records. EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBER [ERN] Effective January 1, 1992, all dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events need an Event Registration Number. AN ERN must be obtained within thirty (30) days of obtaining points, awards, or scores to avoid cancellation. If factors beyond your control prohibits this or presents a problem, please send a written request for a 30 day extension. For further information contact the CKC at 416-675-5511. NO INDIGNITIES It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer, or competitor at an Obedience Trial held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Obedience Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating this has occurred.

NOVICE "A" & OPEN "A" CLASSES - OBEDIENCE Entries cannot be accepted into the "A" classes for two dogs owned by the same person. One dog may be entered into the "A" class; the other dog must be entered in "8". The exhibitor or a member of the immediate family must handle the dog in all exercises. A dog which has earned its CO title in the US or 8ermuda is not eligible for Novice "A" class. A dog which has earned its COX title in the US or 8ermuda is not eligible for the Open "A" class. Such dogs must be entered in the "8" class. Please refer to the CKC rule book for clarification. DAMMIT DOG EVENTS OBEDIENCE FUN MATCH - Friday night at 6:00 PM at Centennial Arena. $5.00 per entry. RALLY OBEDIENCE FUN MATCH Friday afternoon - 4:30-6:00 PM at Centennial Arena. $5.00 per entry. DAMMIT DOG SOUVENIERS - Limited editions! RALLY NOVICE "A" & NOVICE "B" ARMBAND DRAWS - Your armband number is your entry for one of four prize draws (Two per day) RALLY NOVICE "A" - Dogs entered in this class may not have won a CKC Rally Novice (RN) title or any CKC Novice Obedience Title. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or member of the immediate family. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. Dogs that have earned titles or are not handled by the owners may enter in the Novice "8" class. SILENT AUCTION - On site Saturday and Sunday. Final bids are taken on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY NIGHT SOCIAL - Enjoy a great meal, talk strategy and relax with your fellow competitors and the trial hosts. RALLY NOVICE "8" - Any dog may compete in this class until a qualifying score in the Rally Advanced class has been earned. The owner or any person may handle dogs in this class. RALLY ADVANCED "A" & ADVANCED "B" RALLY ADVANCED "A" - Dogs entered in this class have won the Rally Novice (RN) title but have not won the Rally Advanced (RA) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or member of their immediate family. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. RALLY ADVANCED "8" - This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Novice (RN) title. Upon completing the Rally Advanced (RA) title, a dog may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. A dog may not be entered in this class after official notification from CKC that the dog has won the title RE. No dog may be entered in Rally Excellent A & 8 at any one trial. RALLY EXCELLENT "8" - This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Advanced (RA) title. A dog may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class.
