Official Premium List Vizsla Canada FIELD TESTS FOR POINTING BREEDS Saturday, June 11, 2016 (FDX/CH FDX FDA FD FDJ) Sunday, June 12, 2016 (FDX/CH FDX FDA FD FDJ) This is a Licensed Field Test held under Canadian Kennel Club Rules and Regulations for Pointing Breeds LOCATION: The Property of: Mike and Donna Wilshire RR#1, Cayuga, Ontario N0A 1E0 (Directions to the test site on PAGE 6 of this Premium) START TIME: 8:00 a.m. each day for FDX CH dogs followed by FDX, FDA, FD, and FDJ. All entrants will be provided with a running order and will be responsible for determining an appropriate time to arrive at the test site for their event. The first two entrants of the day will be notified by phone or email. ENTRIES: Entries may be submitted via Entry Line. (www.entryline.com or 1-800-293-2935) OR mailed entries directly to the Test Secretary will be accepted. For all categories. Dogs not registered with C.K.C. must pay an $8.40 listing fee. A listing fee as established by The Canadian Kennel Club must accompany the entry of a dog for which a Canadian Kennel Club individual registration number, Event Registration Number (ERN), Performance Event Number (PEN) or Miscellaneous Certification Number (MCN) is not shown on the entry form. All cheques are payable to: VIZSLA CANADA. Vizsla Canada reserves the right to remove a dog from the running order if entry fees have not been paid in full. Vizsla Canada reserves the right to refuse entries from persons who have failed to pay entry fees in full at prior tests. Fees for entries withdrawn after the closing time will not be refunded. WAIVER: All attendees, volunteers and participants are required to sign a Release, Consent and Indemnity for Field Tests Waiver before being allowed to participate in or view the test. This includes gunners, handlers, judges, apprentice judges and volunteers NO EXCEPTIONS!!! COURSES AND GAME: Chukar will be used in all categories, Bobwhite quail, chukar, pheasant, pigeons or ducks will be used in the FDX water retrieve. Gunning will be done by official gunners only. The FDX CH, FDX, FDA, FD and FDJ course will be a single course with a bird field. FD and FDJ dogs will be run individually. FDX CH, FDX, FDA dogs will be run in braces or individually where applicable with a by-dog for backing. All handlers must carry a starter pistol. OTHER RULES: * No dogs will be allowed to exercise or be trained on the test grounds * Bitches in season will be allowed to run at the end of the test at the discretion of the Field Chair and Test Secretary, only if there are gunners and or by-dogs available to accommodate where applicable. Current record of vaccination may be required. * Test scores will be available from the Test Secretary after the completion of each test category NOTE: If you have twice qualified your dog with any of our Judges, please notify the Test Secretary before the drawing time. SPECIAL NOTE: It shall be the duty and obligation of the test-giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer or competitor at a Field Dog Test is not subject to indignities. The Field Test Committee Chairman shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. PRIZES: Standard C.K.C. Blue Ribbon to all dogs obtaining a qualifying score. MEALS: Lunch and light refreshments will be available both days for a nominal fee.
CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE A non-member participation fee will be charged to a resident of Canada who is a non-member of the CKC. The fee applies only to dogs wholly owned by non-member residents of Canada and is not applicable to CKC members. The non-member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by the individual. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved to the next level.
