What an exciting year we have planned! Hang on for the ride - it should be a fun one! Starting the year off on the right paw we hosted our first herding trials Jan. 12-13! It was an awesome weekend especially the weather seventy degrees and perfect for trialing! The judges were super, guiding us along the way. And most importantly thanks to all that helped support this event and kept it running so smoothly. Congratulations on all the wonderful runs that earned Q s and pretty ribbons! We have had a lot of firsts within our club Dec. 8-9, 2012, we held the first ASCA rally trial in South Carolina. The turn out was great! Thanks to all the CASC members and friends that helped to make these events a success. Coming in February, CASC will hold the first ASCA agility trials in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Our intention behind offering these South of the Border events was to fulfill our club s original intentions of being a club to Aussie lovers in both of the Carolina states. To make these events successful, we need everyone to share our messages, promote our events in a positive way, and most of all lend us your helping hand. We are hoping to attract more aussie lovers to enjoy these events, so share the word! As we enter the new year, let us make our goal to keep our club active and progressive. Mark your calendar for our first club meeting Sunday, March 10, immediately after the CASC Tracking test awards and lunch. Our agenda will include re-evaluation our show schedule and making plans for our summer/fall events. Be there! See you soon! Mary Herd-A-Bout-It
