EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND THEIR DOGS. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. No refund of entry fee will be made in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the show committee. The owner or handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. The show-giving club has no obligation for locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. The show giving club, their agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. "Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm s way (for example: left unattended on a grooming table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper ventilation) will be removed to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm s way is considered mistreatment. PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES Puppy sweepstakes is open to all Bouvier des Flandres at least 6 months old and under 18 months old on the day of the show. Champions may compete in Sweepstakes. All Sweepstakes entries must also be entered in one of the regular classes at the regular fee. Each entry is to indicate Sweepstakes as an additional class indicating the age division. Judging will be before judging of the regular classes. Prize money will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Neutered dogs or spayed bitches may compete in veteran classes at independent specialties. Working Dog/Bitch For dogs/bitches over 6 months old with an AKC performance title (Obedience, rally, herding, agility, tracking). Winners of this class do not compete for Winners points, but are eligible to compete for Best of Breed. Altered Dog/Bitch Dogs/bitches must be over 6 months of age and be spayed or neutered. Champions may be shown in this class. The winners of these classes will compete for a separate Best of Breed-Altered. NON-REGULAR CLASSES for Multiple Dog entries Since these classes are judged on the merits of more than one dog, the winner is not eligible to compete for Best of Breed. Stud Dog/Brood Bitch For a Stud Dog/Brood Bitch and two of their get. Get need to be entered in a regular class. Class to be judged on the merits of the get. Entry fee is $16 for the class. Brace For two dogs which are similar in appearance, performing in unison, presented by a maximum of two handlers and with at least one owner in common. Each dog must also be entered in a regular class. Entry fee is $16 for the unit. Both dogs need to be identified at the time of entry in the space for Additional Class. ENTRY INFORMATION Entry fees per show include AKC recording/event service fees) All entry fee checks or money orders (US funds) are to be made payable to CAPER. Entries must be received by 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 1 after which time no entries may be accepted, cancelled, altered, or substituted. No telephone or verbal entries will be accepted. All changes and cancellations must be received in writing (email is acceptable) prior to closing, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows published by the American Kennel Club. All entries must be on official AKC entry forms. Entries will be returned if they are illegible, incomplete, are submitted with incorrect fees, or are photocopied without the reverse side instructions and agreement included. Checks returned for insufficient fees will have the entry cancelled; acceptance of such an entry will only be made if the full fees, plus a $25 administrative fee, are paid via certified check or money order & received prior to the start of judging. Express deliveries must include signature waiver permitting them to be left at the Secretary s address without receipt signature. Entries received without signature release will be returned. CAPER is not responsible for non-delivery of emails due to delivery errors or spam blockers, and no further efforts will be made. Confirmations and judging schedules will be sent after closing. Refunds: Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date; in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by the Show Committee; or in the event that extreme weather conditions, riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the Show Committee make it impossible to open or complete the show/trial. Both the front & back of each entry form must be included, completely filled out and signed, or the entry will not be accepted. Payment must include the $1.50 per class additional charge to be valid.

Entry Errors: Exhibitors are responsible for the correctness of entries. All entries which include an email address will be sent an entry verification email shortly after receipt. All errors will be corrected prior to closing; exhibitor errors discovered after closing cannot be corrected. Duplicate entries will not be refunded after closing. Overpayments of less than $5 per dog will not be refunded. Moveups to Best of Breed or Open/Master Jr Show classes: Dogs which, according to their owner s records, have completed the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for this show may be transferred from the Dog or Bitch class to the Best of Breed class. Similarly, an entrant in a Novice Junior Showmanship can be transferred to Open if the junior has earned a third 1st place, and an Open entry can be moved to Masters if the junior has earned a tenth first place, after this show s closing date. Each of these transfer requests must be made to, and accepted by, the Show Secretary (Nancy Eilks) at least 30 minutes prior to the start of any regular conformation judging for the show. Numbers may be obtained from the American Kennel Club phone 919-816-3776 Novice Junior Class: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. Novice Intermediate Class: For boys and girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. Novice Senior Class: For boys and girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. Open Junior Class: For boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. Open Intermediate Class: For boys and girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. Open Senior Class: For boys and girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places awards, with competition, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member club show. MASTER CLASS-This class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won 10 first place wins in an Open class with competition since Novenber 1, last year. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required

to enter the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.
