No entries may be accepted, altered, cancelled or substituted after the official closing date and time for entries except as provided for in these rules. TEST DETAILS: Running order will be determined by a draw; if possible handlers with more than one dog will run in nonconsecutive order. Include name of handler on entry form. A running list will be available at the tests. Handlers running more than one event must check-in with Marshalls at both events. Pigeons and/or game birds will be used on land. Ducks will be used in water. Separate entry forms must be completed for each dog and each test entered. All handlers in the hunt test must wear dark or camouflage clothing. Bitches in season may NOT be entered in the Hunt tests. Refunds will be given upon receipt of a veterinarian certificate PRIOR to the test. Lunch will be available at the headquarters for a $6.00 fee includes meat or vegetarian option, salads, beverage and deserts. Lunches must be pre-ordered no later than during registration. Non-Member Participation Fee for non-member of CKC: a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. b) In order to protect awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. c) These fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non-ckc members and are not applicable to CKC members. Returned cheques will be considered nonpayment of entry fees and will be assessed a $40.00 service charge. The owner of a dog entered in this event is entirely responsible for any error in the entering of his dog, regardless of how, or by whom the entry was made. Do not send entries by any method requiring a signature as event secretary will not go to courier or post office to sign. The Test Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. Competitors assume the sole responsibility for, and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefore, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injuries, death, or damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties, their employees or agent, or any other person.
