Belling the Cat Once upon a time, the mice held a meeting. They wanted to figure out what to do about the cat because they were very afraid of him. Several mice spoke, and tried to suggest some good tips. But none of them seemed to be good enough. Then a young mouse said he had a good plan.

Belling the Cat The cat is very sneaky. If we tie a bell around the cat s neck, we can hear the bell and run away before the cat comes. Every mouse agreed it was a wonderful idea. But then an old mouse stood up slowly and said, The idea sounds great. But the problem is, Who will hang the bell on the cat?
