A running order will be e-mailed to all entrants providing an e-mail address is provided. The first two entrants of the day will be notified by phone or e-mail. ENTRIES: Entries may be submitted via Entry Line. (www.entryline.com or 1-800-293-2935) OR mailed entries directly to the Test Secretary will be accepted. FEES: $55.00 CDN for each category on each day. Dogs not registered with C.K.C. must pay an $8.20 listing fee. A listing fee as established by The Canadian Kennel Club must accompany the entry of a dog for which a Canadian Kennel Club individual registration number, Event Registration Number (ERN), Performance Event Number (PEN) or Miscellaneous Certification Number (MCN) is not shown on the entry form. The VSO reserves the right to refuse entries from persons who have failed to pay entry fees in full at prior tests. Fees for entries withdrawn after the closing time will not be refunded. This includes gunners, handlers, judges, apprentice judges and volunteers NO EXCEPTIONS! COURSES AND GAME: Chukars will be used in the birdfield in all categories. Dead bobwhite quail, chukars, pheasants, pigeons or ducks will be used in the FDX water retrieve. Gunning will be done by official gunners only. The FDX/CH, FDX, FDA, FD and FDJ course will be a single course with a birdfield. FD and FDJ dogs will be run individually. FDX/CH, FDX and FDA dogs will be run in braces or individually where applicable with a by-dog for backing. All handlers must carry a starter pistol. OTHER RULES: No dogs will be allowed to exercise and or be trained on the test grounds Bitches in season will be allowed to run at the end of the test at the discretion of the Field Chair and Test Secretary. And only if there are gunners and or by-dogs available to accommodate where applicable. Current record of vaccination may be required. It is the responsibility of the owner(s), agent(s) or handler to inform the Test Secretary ofr Field Chair is the bitch is in season. Test scores will be available from the Test Secretary after completion each test category NOTE: If you have twice qualified your dog with any of our Judges, please notify the Test Secretary before the drawing time. SPECIAL NOTE: It shall be the duty and obligation of the test-giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer or competitor at a Field Dog Test is not subject to indignities. The Field Test Committee Chairman shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. PRIZES: Standard C.K.C. Blue Ribbon to all dogs obtaining a qualifying score. MEALS: Lunch and light refreshments will be available both days for a nominal fee. Page 2 of 6
CKC NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE A non-member participation fee will be charged to a resident of Canada who is a nonmember of the CKC. The fee applies only to dogs wholly owned by non-member residents of Canada and is not applicable to CKC members. The non-member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by the individual. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC ember or pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved to the next level.
