Double Open and Double Youth Rabbit Show ***Saturday March 23, 2019*** Kings County Fairgrounds 810 S. 10 th Ave. Hanford, California *** Entry Information *** Check in time will be 7:30am. Judging at 8:30am. Everyone, please check in with the show secretary before the show starts. Please mark entry form Open or Youth. All entries must be postmarked by Wednesday, March 13. E-mail deadline,, March 17. No late entries. Please use the attached entry form when mailing or e-mailing your entry. Please list your phone number and e-mail address on the entry form. Check or money order must accompany your entry when mailed. Make checks payable to Central Valley RBA. There will be a $25 charge for any returned checks. **This will be a Cal State sanctioned show.** E-mail entries must be paid before judging starts. If you do not attend, you will still need to pay. **No phone entries. No late entries. Substitutions (ear changes only) same breed, sex, and variety as entered, may be made at the table on the day of the show before judging. Changes in class, sex or variety will not be allowed. Any exhibitor attempting to make changes other than ear numbers without authorization from the show secretary will be subject to having the rabbit scratched. And possibly having their entire entry & fees forfeited. Limit of 4 ear changes per show with no charge. Ear changes over 4, will be charged $1.00 per rabbit, per show. You must pay the show secretary as soon as your breed is done. Failure to pay, will be subject to having the rabbit scratched. *** Judges *** Joe Lugo Armando Cabrera Doug King Chris Zemny Scott Williamson Exhibitor check-in sheets will be e-mailed to every exhibitor to check for any errors I might have made. Please let me know if there are any errors as soon as possible. Remember there will be NO day of show changes allowed of any kind except for ear number changes at the table. Please check your rabbits before entering. Show reports and legs will be e-mailed to every exhibitor with an e-mail address. *** Our next show date will be November 9, 2019 ***

*** Show Rules *** 1. Each exhibitor is responsible for getting their animal to the judging table. No classes will be re-judged. 2. All rabbits are entered at the owner s risk. Judges and show committee are not in any way responsible for injury or death but every precaution will be taken for their safety. 3. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to pick up the remark cards when removing the animal from the show table. 4. Animals must be permanently and legibly earmarked. Any sick animals must be removed. 5. According to ARBA rules an exhibitor cannot make any comments which may identify ownership of a rabbit, nor may they attempt to influence the judging of an animal. Anyone doing this may have their animal disqualified and removed from the show. 6. Aisles must be kept clear. Please do not take more room than is necessary. 7. All parents will be responsible for their children. You will be held responsible and liable for any damages to the Kings County Fairgrounds. 8. NO dogs allowed. 9. NO SMOKING IN SHOWROOM, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES on grounds. 10. No selling of items or animals, other than rabbits, neither outside nor inside of building unless booth fee has been paid. 11. The show committee shall decide any and all questions arising which are not covered by specific rules. Upon submitting an entry, the exhibitor agrees to abide by all show rules. *** Activities for Youth *** Rabbit Costume Contest Dress your rabbit in your favorite design and you may win a prize. The rabbit costume contest will be held during the lunch break. Categories will be: Most Original, Most Outrageous, Best Holiday Theme, Story Book Character, Judges Favorite Cutest Couple 2 Rabbits, Cutest Couple Bunny & Owner, Best Dressed - Large Breed, Best Dressed Small Breed, Look Alike Bunny & Owner, and Funniest. *** Raffle *** Raffle items will be 4 tickets for $1.00. If you have anything you would like to donate, it would be gratefully appreciated. Please, only rabbits with pedigrees and no disqualifications. The raffle will be held at 1:30 p.m. The names will be posted and items not claimed by 3:30 will be redrawn. Camping available at fairgrounds with full hookups for $30 per night. Booth Space Available - $50 for commercial space, $25 for non-commercial one table space. It would be gratefully appreciated. *** Driving Directions *** From I-5 take the eastbound Hwy 198 exit to Hanford. Off of 198 take the Douty street exit off ramp, keep straight until 10 th Ave. Turn right at 10 th Ave. fairgrounds will be on the left. From Hwy 99 take the westbound Hwy 198 exit to Hanford. Off of 198 take the 10 th Ave. exit off ramp. Turn left onto 10 th Ave. fairgrounds will be on the left. From Fresno take Hwy 41 or Hwy 43 to Hwy 198. Follow directions from above. No parking will be allowed on the fairgrounds. You may drive in to unload your rabbits and then move your vehicle out to the parking lot. All vehicles must be moved by 8:30. When you are ready to leave, you may drive your vehicle in to pick up your rabbits and then leave immediately. This is a new fair rule, we are sorry for any inconvenience. *** Awards *** Best in Show and Reserve in Show for Open & Youth will receive awards. Awards will be given for Best of Breed for the top 10 breeds and Best Opposite of Breed for the top 5 breeds in Open & Youth. Ribbons for 1 st through 5 th place will be given to YOUTH ONLY.
