Congratulations to Cindy Meadows and Jax!!! She shared the following accomplishments: Jax and I had a great time at the SAZASA trial last weekend at Fast Lane Aussies. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it a fun three days of herding. Jax earned his Started Cattle, Open Geese and Advanced Sheep titles. He earned 9 out of 9 qualifing runs and won (2) 1st, (3) 2nd and a 3rd place. On Friday and Saturday he went High Score on Geese and High in Trial on Geese and High Combined on all stock. On Sunday he went High Score on Sheep and High in Trial on Sheep and High Combined on all stock. These wins were for the other breeds competing with the Aussies at their trial. At only 16 months, Jax is exceeding all of my expectations.

Congratulations to Tammy Gosnell and Rue!! They earned the 2019 Hi Combined Novice JCM Memorial Series buckle!

Barb s Nell PT, FDC, CGC,TKI, SIN, SCN Scent Work Information Update We have been approved to hold three scent work trials in June 2019. Saturday, June 15, 2019, we will have two trials (60) runs each. One trial on Sunday, June 16th will have 125 runs. The premium will be available in April. Thanks to the following BCCAZ members who are making this trial possible: Barb Gates, Aleks Woodwroffe and Myra Judd!

Bev Murray s young Scout is off to a great start at his FIRST Herding Trial with a 1st Place Started Sheep! Older brother Evan earned HIT Sheep and HIT Cattle Other Breed. Bev shared the following about Day 2: Scout placed 2nd in Started Sheep (ASCA), that's Scout's FIRST title of MANY to come! Thank you judges Russ Ford & Brad Warren. And a special thanks to Scout's teammate extraordinaire (trainer), Dawna Sims! Scout isn't so sure he likes this trialing business though. Yesterday he only spent 1:22 in the arena, today 1:23. He kept looking at the set out gate for more sheep to come. NADA! How disappointing... But he has 2 more days of competition. He loves to work much like his brother, Evan. PLEASE send me your dog s pictures and accomplishments for the newsletter and website! Share your wonderful dogs with fellow members! (aeasley2@cox.net)
