3.0 Solutions for the Consumer 3.0 Solutions for the Consumer Even the best behaved pets may get into situations where they are either making a mess, disrupting the tranquility in their owner s homes or worse, being in a position where there are in danger due to no fault of their own. Indoor and Outdoor Solutions provides consumers and their pets with a worry free life by keeping their pet away from activities and items that can create temptation or hazards both inside and outside the home. Solutions are trusted solutions that provide protection to consumers and their pets that they have come to expect from other Invisible Fence Brand solutions. An added benefit to the consumer is having it professionally installed and pet training completed by a training expert.

3.1 Indoor Solutions 3.1 Indoor Solutions for the Consumer There are many tell-tale signs to indicate that a Shields Solution is needed. Asking the consumer to think about areas they would like to protect should bring up many examples. Use a Pet Evaluation form to help identify areas where a Shields Solution would be a benefit for the consumer. Here are but a few indicators that a Shields Solution may be needed: Baby gates blocking off pet s access Claw marks on doors Pet Dishes stored off the floor Teeth marks or scratches on furniture Furry Furniture Blanketed Furniture Locked Litter Boxes Closed doors Household plants (as some can be poisonous) Open doors are a gateway to adventures for pets. Adventures are fun and exciting but can be dangerous when the adventure leads to dashing into a busy street or an unfriendly neighbors yard or when a family treasure is damaged. Look at the potential uses identified by the Pet Evaluation form and for each situation you can easily identify the problem area and be able to express how an Indoor Solution can provide your consumer with peace of mind that comes from Shields Solutions.

3.2 Outdoor Solutions 3.2 Outdoor Solutions for the Consumer Just as there are tell-tale signs for Indoor Avoidance needs, there are equally signs for Outdoor Avoidance needs. Often times, behavior issues can be magnified outside in the yard, such as climbing and digging. There are also hazardous areas in many yards where consumers need to keep them pet from accessing. Again, use the Pet Evaluation form to help determine potential trouble areas where Avoidance Solutions would be recommended. Here are but a few indicators that a Solution may be needed: Pools and pool sheds Landscaped areas Claw marks on outside doors Ponds and Children s play structures Bird Feeders Gates and physical fences may provide an escape area for pets. Pets see fences and gates as obstacles, not just boundaries. Landscaping and pools/ponds represent a substantial investment with many home owners. Having the ability to protect these investments is a must for most consumers. Look at the potential uses identified by the Pet Evaluation form and for each situation you can easily identify the problem area and be able to express how an Outdoor Solution can provide your consumer with peace of mind that comes from Solutions.

3.3 Multi-Pet Solutions 3.3 Multi-Pet Solutions for the Consumer Homes with multiple pets provide a different array of potential avoidance needs. Again, use the Pet Evaluation form to help determine potential trouble areas where Avoidance Solutions would be recommended. Here are but a few indicators that a Solution may be needed: Food dishes being on different levels Blocked off litter boxes Dietary requirements Indoor vs. Outdoor pets All pets are not created equal. Some pets may eat everything is sight while others are content to let them do so or some pets may have special dietary requirements that need to be protected. Dogs and cats may get along in the home but litter box waste may present a problem that you want to keep from happening. Again, look at the potential uses identified by the Pet Evaluation form, identify the problem area and demonstrate how a Multi-Pet Solution can provide your consumer with peace of mind that comes from Solutions.

3.4 Solutions and the Vet/Influencer 3.4 Solutions and the Vet/Influencer There is an underlying desire of Veterinarians and Pet Influencers to improve the health and safety for pets. Unfortunately not all of these influencers are familiar with Solutions to provide their clients with recommendations that are based upon factual practical applications. Invisible Fence Brand Dealers have a great opportunity to share these applications and benefits with their local Vets and Influencers helping them to make educated recommendations and help them to proudly meet their underlying desire to improve the health and safety for their client s pets. Solutions provide Influencers with the tools and opportunity to recommend specific solutions for behavior issues and overall pet relationship happiness. Most Vets receive no training specifically on enhancing the pet ownership experience. Providing them with tools that allow for pets and their owners to have happy relationships is a win-win proposition for them.

3.5 Solutions Vet/Influencer Benefits 3.5 Solutions Vet/Influencer Benefits Although relied upon to offer advice on containment, avoidance and behavior issues, few Vets are familiar with how Solutions operates and how it can be an effective solution for their clients. An important fact to represent to Vets/Influencers is that in many situations, the Solution may be the only thing that will keep the pet from being relinquished or abandoned. A benefit to your Influencer is that keeping the pet in the home helps ensures their own client base continues to grow. It also provides them with workable solutions to offer to their clients for behavioral issues. Education regarding the advantages of Shields Solutions is another say the Influencer can introduce a more focused discussion with their clients regarding the hazards of household and other dangerous chemicals. They can be assured that when they make a recommendation, they are potentially saving pet s lives by secluding them from high risk areas. There are other areas as well where the Influencer can now make recommendations for enhancing the pet ownership experience. Keeping dogs from eating cat eliminations, keeping the pet safe in the kitchen and keeping them from drowning are just a couple of issues that the Influencer can benefit from. These examples are but a few of real life experiences that many pet owners experience. Experiences that often times are the difference between a poor and a happy pet ownership experience.
